Hello everyone.

With Early Access for Midnight beginning at midnight tonight, we want to outline how PvP currencies and gear unlocks will work over the coming weeks.

During Early Access (February 27 - March 2)

  • Honor from The War Within is set to zero for all characters.
  • Honor gain is capped at 4000 per character on your account.
  • Honor gear is not purchasable from vendors.
  • Warband Honor transfer is disabled.

After midnight on March 3 CET

  • Conquest from The War Within is set to zero out for all characters.
  • Bloody Tokens from The War Within will zero out for all characters.
  • The Honor cap is increased from 4000 to 15,000 per character on your account.
  • Honor gear becomes purchasable.
  • Conquest gear is not purchasable until Midnight Season 1 begins.
  • Warband Honor transfer remains disabled.

With the launch of Midnight Season 1 (March 18)

  • Warband Honor transfer is re-enabled.
  • Conquest currency is now obtainable for all characters.
  • Conquest has an initial cap of 1600, increasing by 800 every week.
  • Conquest gear is now purchasable.
  • Bloody Tokens can now drop.
  • Bloody Tokens have an initial cap of 1600, increasing by 800 every week.
  • War Mode gear becomes purchasable.

With the changes above, we intend to provide everyone with a fair experience as Midnight gets underway, and a smooth experience obtaining, transferring, and using PvP currencies.

We look forward to seeing you in Slayer’s Rise, Training Grounds, Battlegrounds, and Arenas during Midnight!

We’ve updated the OP to reflect that Bloody Tokens from The War Within will zero out for all characters when Early Access ends.

Why are you people even selling Early Access if you going to punish these consumers/customers for spending more money with you. You already pulled a fast one by locking a playable race which is really no different to levelling any other race with the excuse “fair”. It is not fair to those who pay more to play more.

Early Access has both pros and cons, and it’s up to each individual to decide if they want to purchase it or not. I am in general against bad practices by companies, but in this case it’s buyer’s responsibility to not give in to the desire to be among the first to do something.

We have seen how unstable the game is during launches. We saw with TWW Early Access how almost 10% of the Early Access playerbase was not able to play at all. And there are industry-wide examples of early-access features being moneygrabs.

I didn’t get Epic Edition. In fact I haven’t even yet purchased the Normal edition. I will be doing that either around 23:58 CEST on Monday, or on Tuesday afternoon after I return from work.

plot twist : exiasee clicks the buy button . the page says something went wrong but exiasee gets charged for the order . :see_no_evil_monkey:

The real plot twist is that the in-game Shop doesn’t work for me for almost 1 year now, since the Liberation of Undermine patch.
