We’ve heard your feedback regarding some of the Prey mechanics, including concerns about easily reaching Journey Rank 4 to unlock the final story quests from Astalor Bloodsworn, which grants access to Nightmare Mode this week.
We want to enable players to experience the thrills of hunting (and being hunted by) Prey at the highest level of difficulty, so today we made the following adjustments:
Journey Ranks 1-3 – Completing hunts after your first 4 each week (account wide) will now award 1000 Journey progress.
Journey Ranks 4+ – Completing hunts after your first 4 each week (account wide) will award 50 Journey progress.
Completing your first 4 hunts each week (account wide) will continue to award 1000 Journey progress.
Please keep in mind that this applies to all hunts, including the random hunts feature that unlocks at Journey Rank 2, where Astalor can generate a randomly selected hunt for you at the cost of 50 Anguish. Random hunts give players the option to choose between various currencies, including additional Anguish.
Thank you for all of your feedback and we’ll see you on the hunt!
nightmare preys are not fun at all, they are over tuned, i guess when i will be 300 ilvl that wont matter but now when the majority is not you getting killed easily
annoying mobs teleporting to your back when you casting, constant stuns and roots not fun
also today in harandar there were no traps at all
I guess you just are bad at the game then and refuse to improve or actually learn how to counter mechanics? Maybe your situational awareness just isn’t good enough for this type of challenge? Not everything in this game needs to be casual easy.
i just said they are not fun, and yes at current state they are over tuned for low ilvl characters
its hard to understand for some aggressive forum posters so they have come to forum and call others bad
normal post would say just hey i have no issues with preys, but no…someone with clear issues would feel the need to attack other
there are other reports about nightmare preys being not fun and obviously some classes can deal with them better than others
This is such a disingenuous simplification of Prey that you either must be trolling, not understand the system fully, or are just replying to your own messages on the forum.
Before the update they were in some regards easy, now the Nightmare Prey’s are just too much. I don’t have time after death to recuperate or call my pets. I get instant fired on low health with 3x 90k (including agro you are fighting) within a few seconds. It doesn’t help As BM hunter that sucks atm. With cooldown times of 30 seconds :> meh
Nice but did you not see our feedback regarding the traps? Make it so people dont have to fight over them. I have seen alot of frustrated people because of that
