Raid Tuning Incoming – 6 May

With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments.

Raids

  • The Voidspire
    • Crown of the Cosmos
      • Alleria health reduced by 5% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Alleria’s berserk timer increased by 15 seconds in Mythic difficulty.
      • Demiar, Morium, and Vorelus health in Stage One reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Alleria’s energy generation rate in Stage Two reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Rift Simulacrum health reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Demiar, Morium, and Vorelus energy generation rate in Stage Three reduced by 13% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Rift Simulacrum energy generation rate in Stage Two and Three reduced by 13% in Mythic difficulty.
      • Spawn time between Rift Simulacrum and Cosmic Portal increased slightly in Mythic difficulty.
      • Voidstalker Sting targets 10% fewer players in Stage Three.
      • Silverstrike Ricochet width increased to 5 yards (was 4 yards) in Mythic difficulty to match other difficulties.
  • March on Quel’Danas
    • Belo’ren, Child of Al’ar
      • Rebirth is now a 40 second cast on all difficulties (was 30 seconds).
      • Reduced the knockback on Light and Void Edict on all difficulties.
    • Midnight Falls
      • Midnight Crystal health reduced by 5% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Developers’ notes: The following adjustments are aimed at reducing difficulty for smaller groups, with the greatest reductions applying to 10-player groups. These affect Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties.
      • Midnight Crystal health reduced by up to 20% in smaller group sizes.
      • Cosmic Fracture cast time increased to 14 seconds (was 12 seconds).
      • Eclipsed damage reduced by up to 20% in smaller group sizes.
      • Starsplinter cast frequency reduced to every 1.3 seconds on Heroic difficulty (was every 1 second).
      • Overkill Current damage reduced by 20%.

Ah the regular mythic nerf because the RWF circus is over

It is the least ever ATOC fight done so far does it not tell you that players hate the gimmick fights and so many actions per phase [L’ura] and why should big raid teams be punished for having 25+ players do we really need to split down to 2 to 3 teams , i do not think so…

Why the gap between dungeon trinket and raid trinkets so massive ?

Why does brew tank have pull exploits that are allowed to work because of their broken set bonus thru walls and so on using macros ?

Can we have more tuning please ?

Imo the most punishing part for L’ura is Galvanize and failing it. P1 L’ura is extremely easy once you get into the groove of it Anything you fail in P1 can be recovered and in P3 the most important part can be assigned to 5 trusty players where as failing to a single Void Core with Galvanize will almost certainly result in a guaranteed wipe cos of the Decay buff being to much to heal on top of the damage in P3 for an entire minute. Easiest way to deal with it would be to nerf Decay to 10 seconds instead of a minute. That means with CDs you can survive 1 failure

that the spawns of them are terrible and that you are (again) forced to play 2 dks at another endboss, this 5% is useless
if the spawn rng is good they are done in seconds, if they spawn rly bad its just a wipe =)

This encounter has SO many “1 person f-up all die” mechanics its not funny
srsly with the addon purge (and we still need to have addons to play this encounter)
For liquid max this was one of the best fights…for everyone else its just a bad experience. The rng on this fight is so terrible.

Wait for the nerf for 1 less glaive each rotation or one less midnight crystal spawn. You have the most wipes just p1 even if you want to progress p3.

edit: it doesnt help, that you nerf tanks for mplus, but most people still progress on raid encountern, where you want the dmg from a bear or killing more of brewmasters lackluster kit on Lura. Her tankbuster hits rly hard on brewmaster and you have only 1 def cd thanks to your pruning, because everything have to be passive (and boring).
