Crazy to think that with current US house prices winning the first of the prizes would only be enough for a deposit on a single house that all 5 players would live in together. How cheap are you Microsoft? Holy heck!
This is assuming no deductions from the money, which there will probably be tons of.
I mean…WoW tournaments including the MDI are - compared to other e-sport tournaments - negligibly small. Not too weird that it’s not a life-changing prize.
What do they usually get as peak? 50-100k views? It’s almost sad.

Still, it makes the tournament look cheap. They’ll get less money than Wings of Redemption gets from e-begging.

They should introduce a ban system banning meta comps, watching meta comps is boring anyway.

Yes, I feel like it needs a different vibe, not many people are giving a care about Arenas or Mythic+, we need a Battleground Tournament from all the best teams of EU, NA, Asia and others. Even a Guild Race for Mythic Raiding is more interesting than Arena, imho.

I care. This is almost as exciting as monitoring the progress of some grass I planted minute-by-minute. Almost. I’ll still be required to spend time on that instead unfortunately.
