Ascendant Voidshard Adjustments Incoming - 13 May

Later in the day tomorrow, May 13, we intend to deploy hotfixes to adjust Ascendant Voidshard drop rates. Our goal with these changes is not to slow down acquisition rates overall, but to better align the value of Voidshards as a reward with the activities players are participating in.

After these changes go live, Ascendant Voidshards will drop at a 100% rate from:

  • Heroic and Mythic raid kills.
  • Mythic+ 10 or higher completions, with no cap.
  • Delve Tier 11 bountiful chests.
  • Nightmare Prey Champion gear boxes.

They will also drop slightly more often from Ritual Sites at Tier 5 difficulty.

In all other content not listed above, (e.g. Ritual Sites Tiers 1-4) the drop rates of Ascendant Voidshards will be reduced.

We will confirm here when the hotfixes go live tomorrow. Thank you!

Their AI got confused, don’t worry, it will be nerved by the weekend once an exploit has been found and used.

I don’t understand, so will the adjustments take place on the 14th or have they already been done? Can anyone confirm?

They didn’t bother to adjust for european timezones. hotfix is not live yet

I mean sure but later on today for NA would be late evening for us if I had to guess

Yeah it shouldn’t be live yet. I unlocked it by doing 3 bountiful delves and then after that went and did a 4th bountiful t11 delve and got nothing. So I doubt the hotfix is live here yet.

drop rate currently is about 33% for m+ 10, theyre obv not nerfing, and when that was posted was “yesterday before EU reset, after US reset” so tech its tomorrow already

And regarding the 2H and 1H+Offhand weapons. Are we getting the 1H+Offhand combination to be upgraded by one charge? Or do we have to spend 2 charges to upgrade both weapons, thus, skipping on one of the trinkets?

doesnt look like its 100 % from T11 bountiful dvelve s - just compelted 1 after finishing quest and didnt get shard fragment from it. so better to delay using your dvelve keys till they fix it.

not surprising with current quality of blizzard patches

Did 3 nightmare preys and 1 time 11 delve for 0 shard… gg blizz, you can always dissapoint me more.

A lot of people here lack reading comprehension. Blizzard said they would confirm here on this post when the changes go live. No update/post yet, meaning it simply didn’t go live yet.

So much this, there are many problems with Blizz, but “Hey Blizz! The patch you haven’t implemented yet isn’t working!” isn’t a them-problem.

Did 4 11s this morn and no drop so i guess its not live. Also can we have some variety in rewards as 4 11s + trove map is the weekly cap done..why do any other content if im just not getting rewarded for it. Solo player and im just repeating same routine on alts that arnt fully geared or need to take the 1 peice lottery and get duplicate items most times.More content isnt gonna solve anything. Same sh.ite different toilet - as always.

Hey Blizz, we already are on May 13th. When will the Patch be there?
Would it be possible to test your Updates of the game BEFORE you drop it?
I mean it was announced weeks ago that we can get our voidshards to push the weapon.

Got 2 in a row from my first 2 Tier 5 Ritual Sites, then did 6-7 more in a row and got 0, guessing just really unlucky, very painful
