Raid Tuning Incoming - 20 May

With scheduled realm maintenance, we’ll make the following changes.

Raids

March on Quel’Danas

  • Midnight Falls
    • Heaven’s Glaives maximum duration reduced to 1 minute (was 2 minutes).
    • Reduced the spread of Midnight Crystals on Mythic difficulty.
    • Starsplinter initial damage reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.
    • Criticality damage reduced by 20%.

Dungeon tuning ? Trinket tuning ? DPS tuning ? more tank tuning ?
Yes Veng DH is still behind please keep close eye on all the tanks what keys they finisch compared to the rest and buff when needed.

And fix the horrible stat issues on dungeon trinkets being 2 times less then their raid counterparts.

Its stuff like this that made me wish Blizzard would just get rid of trinkets because you cannot balance them and abselute refusal to balance trinkets at all so far.

The idea should be that better guilds should get a kill first and then others should be able to overgear it. However what’s happening now is that these top guilds go in with ridiculous max level gear making the nerfs required since you can’t overgear it compared to them.

To me the issue is that the seasonality of the game essentially “robs” players from being able to use that overgearing to clear the same content, since when a new season/raid tier arrives everyone goes to the new and rewards from the old raid are removed or become 1% in drop, effectively making the effort appear as if done for nothing.

Yeah that’s a different gearing system you described there and I would be onboard with it. You need to make prior rate drop 3x the amount of loot for catchup. This is something they never tried before. Basically keeping raids as the main gearing mechanism while significantly increasing the drop rate of older patch raids. It used to be a thing but it just felt horrible because of the drop rate.

At this point this is like classic cartoon moments when they cover one hole and two other appear and eventually they just trun out fingers and corks and ducktapes

No one cares about raid tuning, we want class & game fixes!

not gonna happen untill MDI will be over.

and trinkets situation wont be fixed every - thats their only way to force playerbase into raiding which most dont want to do.

There won’t be any tuning until 12.0.7

They dont though not even close to max level gear.

Where’s the class balancing? Healer balancing in particular is a complete nightmare. It’s impossible to play. In Shuffle, it’s already a lost cause if you get an Evoker, Enhancement Shaman or Death Knight. In my opinion, it’s the worst balancing we’ve seen in YEARS.

It’s unbelievable that nothing’s being done about it.

Seems like AI can’t do a good balancing between classes xD

probably the biggest nerf to the fight already, but I hope the many bugs will be fixed…like in p4 that the adds dont despawn, if the tank in the front is soaking them. We had on our first kill 4 dead people just because of this stupid bug.

or maybe fix some of the graphical design? Its terrible, that you are forced to use low settings to see constalations in p3, because if you soak the puddles (which are violett/black) and you dont see a black orb in them you are instantly dead! =)

These same in same color designs are always bad
