Class Tuning Incoming - 22 July

With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make tuning adjustments that are primarily targeted at healer balance and Demon Hunter survivability in PvP.

Player versus Player

  • Demon Hunter
    • Developers’ notes: Both Devourer and Havoc Demon Hunters have been more difficult to land kills against than intended. We’re reducing the potency of shared mitigation effects that are contributing to their survival.
    • Demon Muzzle now reduces magic damage taken by 5% in PvP combat (was 15%).
    • Glimpse now reduces damage taken by 25% (was 35%) while airborne after using Vengeful Retreat.
  • Monk
    • Mistweaver
      • Developers’ notes: We’re reducing Mistweavers’ ability to heal versus clumped targets in PvP since they’ve been outputting more healing than we’d like against pet classes.
      • Way of the Crane now transfers 100% of Spinning Crane Kick’s damage into healing in PvP Combat (was 340%).
  • Priest
    • Holy
      • Developers’ notes: We’re increasing overall healing and providing an opportunity for Holy Priests to contribute offensively to secure kills with their team.
      • Holy Fire direct damage increased by 15%.
      • Holy Fire periodic damage increased by 27%.
      • All healing increased by 3%.
    • Discipline
      • Healing of all spells increased by 3% in PvP combat.
  • Shaman
    • Restoration
      • Developers’ notes: Restoration Shaman healing performance has been slightly behind other healers in PvP, so we’re targeting an increase to their instant healing capabilities.
      • Riptide healing increased by 15% in PvP combat.

begs to differ

Yeah its been at bottom for every rated modes this entire season since the beginning :joy:

Atleast its on some spell that is used in PvP, its about half year too late but I’m sure the resto shamans that are still left do appreciate this.

Im 4 games away from retiring anyway, just wonna leave my 2 cents here:
DISGUSTING designs behind Asssaination Rogue, Mages, Dhs, Hunters.
Might wonna remove some traits like Garrote = Silence+ the oneshotter build thats the new thing currently.
The invisibility thingie being spammed for mages.
Tune down Dh and Hunter.
and ffs what are ret paladins even.. immunity fiesta.
Just my 2 cents, as i said ima grab my Legend title tomorrow morning and ill never que again anyway.
Just leaving it out there in case anyone gives a damn.

They need to do weekly tunings if so be and they need to react sooner during season before people disappear. The system is participation based.

actually nvm, after the post i just logged and took my title, my last game was absolute cancer too.
Finally done with this absolute disaster.

Yes you can eat it like a cookie with salt … :salt:

Holy need more nerfs. Stupid spec without cast requirement. Sure boost their damage. Let’s all roll holy priests.

Holy is bottom in every rated mode, it needs more buffs actually and this 3% is half year late just like for rsham.

There is whooping 2 holy priests in top 500

Bottom in Blitz aswell

Bottom in 3v3

Like you see its prevoker top in every mode and which needs more nerfs but its the class design of it which would need pruning like they did on every other healer. Every other healer lost something important like priests lost life swap. Prevoker can still fly around while making itself immune to cc and spam sleep while flying, its strong heal output and its design with purges and dispel baked into strong spells also make it good and it does alot dmg. Theres a reason why after certain mmr you will only see prevoker healer for every team.

What about their legs?

I’m sure the Amani think otherwise.

Holy has been a joke lately . They should just retire the spec .they are embarrassing themselves with these half peeled band aids

That is rather unholy than holy like

And the fact that they put 3% buff on the bottom spec (2 of them found in top 500) half year late when the season is ending. It’s not acceptable I agree. It doesnt cost much to do number tweaking and they have the resources to do so much more than just number tuning and they are not doing even basic tuning in reasonable time windows when its still relevant for the season. Little 3% now on worst spec will not do much and it certainly comes too late.

I notice that there’s no mention of PvP exclusively for those.
