How could a solo guild usefully make use of this tool…
Solo guild like one man guild?

But there probably is no use for this tool, can’t think of anyhing funny, useful, whatever, at all 
One can find a use for anything. Like having personal channel linked to that guild to use discord as in game notepad app. You can even make discord events to be announced in WoW chat in green guild text so make calender out of it. There are also discord music bots and you would be able to send commands without switching to overlay or alt tabing or getting distracted from the game.

Thanks, those music and notepad ideas (though I use “Notepad” addon ingame already) seem kinda interesting.
Maybe some RP related use case conected to TRP settings, items…noting a bit more complex connections between characters etc. or blueprints for personality profiles, etc. without bloating TRP profiles etc.

Luckily current PC systems are strong enough to run multiple programs at the same time, so we’ve been able to communicate just fine without using account-linking.

I can’t find or think of a single benefit coming out of it for any average player
Completely worthless in its current iteration. It will lock the discord channel for people who haven’t linked their accounts and it will spam the discord channel with messages about unlinked accounts whenever the same people type in the guild chat. All in all useless.
I’d rather drink bleach.
Apparently the alternative to brainstorming is - brace yourself for this nugget - is “thought shower”. 
But, on the matter of the original topic, I’d rather not hand even more data to Blizzard. I’m still getting over the random Pinterest merge they wanted us all to do.
