It’s not same borrow power.
But it’s only for survive in new zone. (I heard Delve too)

This powers disable in raid or dungeon.

As someone who partakes the PTR to test these new outdoor events including the ground mount only vault, I can tell you two things: one is that I will never do this PTR again after seeing feedbacks were totally ignored. Second, the current version that will be released will be the most boring and hated “void assault” like we ever experienced since pre-patch.

It’s a shame that a considerable part of the zone is inside/underground and no flying.
Also; the outdoor content rewards in Midnight have been incredibly lacking. I’ve found hardly any reason to get Renown for example; there’s just almost nothing of interest.

I’m still glad WoW got housing, but it feels like Blizzard thinks that decor can just replace other rewards and it’ll be fine. But yeah… It’s mostly removing my interest to do content.

Why couldn’t it be ‘follow the butterflies’?

this looks lukewarm to me but the turtle pirate is smoking hot!!
when can we play turtle or walrus?

Sounds like another feature I will skip and will level alts instead.

I will pop in and see what it is all about but from the hate mail I have heard the entire patch is Siren Isle meets Void Assualts - Siren Isle made me quit TWW and if this is the same then I be seeing you all prob never.

No no ,we will be naga body 2 .

Technicality that for me atleast still feels like borrowed power and a reason to not engage.
It’s just zonebound instead of timebound.

I personally don’t get the hatred towards borrowed power.
To me it all depends on the system itself. If it’s fun and interesting; borrowed power is awesome and enriches the game.

Having said that: This particular system doesn’t seem fun to me.

“We’re going to make the environment irritating to be in. And then you can earn powers that make it less irritating!”

No.

problem with borrowed power is that you will lose it eventualy and it might or might not be fun.
My problem with the system of borrowed power is that we have power creep each new content patch that are sold as seasons. On top of that we get another borrowed power system that will be obsolete in next season. Not even expansion. Season. If that is the case - nobody will invest resources to make something awesome and unique that would define entire expansion.

In other words: Siren Island, Folio that will be obsolete in next week, belt from TWW S2 (that was obsolete during the season) and probably a lot more that I just don’t remember at this moment.

I dont hate borrowed power. Is just this kind of tree where to chose some “power” that irritate me. I dont care about it.
I did the one in quel danas last patch just because i was bored the 4th week.
I juat hope the zone will be interesting. But if is just invasion and nothin else.. probably ill skip it.
The fact im alrrady at 7th alt max it means im not appreciate this exp. If 12.1 will fail it will be time to unsub.
Im just sad because i wont be able to write here.

Maybe it can be, but I have yet to see blizzard implement it in a way that I thought yeah this made the game better.
It’s like how when people say wow 2 I am often one of the voices saying I wouldn’t give that a chance, it doesn’t mean I won’t give any mmo a chance, but not when it comes from blizzard before they improve their track record.

I have disliked every form of borrowed power they have put out, as they have all felt like engagement metrics that were more designed to keep you playing then it was to give you fun things to do, then when the system ends so does your power with it and because your class was created with the borrowed power in mind (in the past) you had this weird limbo between the end of the current borrowed power system into the start of the next borrowed power system where you just felt like you were half a class.

Good abilities that were fun get scrapped entirely, not brought along, only the base remains and new powers are added onto that, it made every new system a rework depending on how different the new systems abilities were that added onto a spec and I just got tired of it, I do not trust Blizzard to be able to make it engaging, its not a matter of not wanting to give them any chance, but rather I am out of chances to give regarding this topic.
