New Raids Open at 23:59 CEST on August 27

First and foremost, we’d like to thank everyone who participated in raid testing on the PTR. Thanks to your testing, we were able to identify and fix several issues, including the first wave of attackers for the Horde base sometimes de-spawning, the wave counter UI at the top of the screen disappearing, and some boss abilities incorrectly targeting the tank.

We’re also adding extra tier token drops to bosses, just like we did previously. That increase was not on the PTR, but will be in place when the new raids open on Thursday, August 27 at 23:59 CEST.

One question we saw a bit was asking for clarity on our previously-posted statement “We will plan to make other Phase 3 loot changes to heroic dungeon bosses in Phase 3.” As some players correctly concluded, that was intended to call out the Phase 3 changes that players are already familiar with, such as the Epic Gems. We do not have any surprise additional loot changes in the works.

As a reminder, Arena Season 3 starts with the weekly reset next week – that’s the morning of September 2 in this region.

We’ll see you there!

will the haste/destro pots for marks be on live ?

Hello, first of all, I don’t think I’ll get a reply, but I’d like to post a few food-for-thought points here because it feels as though they’ve released TBC Anniversary and then forgotten it exists.

Mats / Layers for farming:
Firstly, I’d like to point out the disastrous economy. Materials are ridiculously expensive; bots are farming 24 hours a day and exploiting every instance farm to avoid reports.
When the expansion launched, there were 20 layers open; now there are 3–4. Currently, more characters are raiding than there are layers open for farming.

The problem with the scrolls:
The community has changed; min-maxing is becoming increasingly intense, with every last bit being squeezed out – even worse than in the last TBC run.
It isn’t NECESSARY to kill the bosses, but the majority of players prefer to get the maximum out of them via consumables.
Having these as random drops, in chests or from repair robots isn’t enough.

Leveling curve:
All other game versions have always received an experience buff at certain points (Joyous Journey), but in TBC – where levelling takes a really long time – we don’t get one?
At the start of the expansion, it was important for many to reach level 70 quickly so as not to miss out on anything; now it’s just endlessly tedious.

Equipping Characters:
Not having a catch-up system is really annoying. Having to run old raids because individual items are by far the best-in-slot – sometimes even in AddOn BiS – is a right pain.
The fact that no vendor is coming to sell T4 loot for Badges of Justice is just sad.
Not having the badges drop in raids from the start is a mistake; it would at least solve the problem of having to run old raids. Combined with the option to purchase equipment that’s no longer current as a catch-up, that would be a good solution.

My conclusion:

I’ll most likely face a lot of opposition, but given all the different versions of WoW and the seasonal concept, we should have the option of making it easier for newcomers to get started.
An improved economy, a better levelling experience and the option to easily re-equip characters would solve many of the problems involved in attracting players back or have them stay.

… only they did not fix all the bugs implemented in the previous patch. Nothing to be impressed by here.

So the “world first” T6 clearing guild exploited account wide attunements by having an entire raid of players piloting/account sharing their 2nd accounts so they could passively gain Black Temple attunement while they cleared Hyjal on their main characters, without having to hand it in.

I feel like purposely breaking TOS and exploiting account sharing to gain an advantage should be bannable, even if it isn’t a real world first. Otherwise, good launch?

people crying about broken pvp mechanics since the release of this garbanzo but i never heard any words of appreciation for them. Oh sorry i guess cause you never fixeed those issues
Thank you btw…
