Midnight Season 2 Trinket Tuning – 22 September

Players can expect this to be the final round of raid and dungeon trinket adjustments for Season 2 when making loot-related decisions, barring any unexpected outliers that may arise. This pass is primarily intended to promote a more viable niche for single-target healing effect options with a few more miscellaneous minor buffs as well.

In addition, several trinkets from Season 1 remain more desirable than we would like due to a combination of aggressive initial tuning and lack of direct Season 2 trinket competition in a particular niche (in this case, Mastery on use).

Given the later-than-usual timing of this tuning, we are announcing these changes a full week ahead of their implementation to inform player decisions and allow for feedback.

The following changes will be applied with the September 22 weekly maintenance:

  • Preternatural Antivenom – Healing increased by 75%.
  • Seed of Radiant Hope – Cooldown reduced to 1 min (was 1.5 mins). Healing increased by 40%.
  • Mycolic Medicine – Effect frequency increased by 33%. Healing increased by 58%.
  • Unstable Felheart Crystal - Cooldown reduced to 1.5 mins (was 2 mins). Healing increased by 58%.
  • Ruby Whelp Shell – Frequency of all effects increased by 100%. All damage reduced by 42%. Single target healing effect increased by 37%. Multi-target healing increased by 5%. Stat effects reduced by 50%.
  • Gaze of the Alnseer – Primary stat reduced by 10%.
  • Vaelgor’s Final Stare – Mastery reduced by 10%.
  • Algeth’ar Puzzle Box – Mastery reduced by 25%.

This should have been done at the very start of the season—just like the changes to dungeons and raids.
And then, class balancing should have been carried out based on the current state of the game (items, dungeons, and raids)…
Am I right in understanding that the announced class balancing won’t be happening at the end of this month?
As usual, you make promises and never stick to them.

The DK DPS raid buff is so strong that since the beginning of this season my guild has benched me and I only have the opportunity to raid with the guild when someone has to leave the team.
I rarely get invited to M+ groups either, so most of the time I can’t actually play the game.
What’s the point of logging into the game and standing in the city and waiting?
So why should I pay for a subscription?

Ok so maybe some stat fixes for the plate armor in the dungeon pool also as 80% of them have Versatility and makes it hard to make viable stats with the dungeon pool.

Also if you need to nerf last seasons trinkets maybe provide alternatives? Again the dungeon pool has nothing good for this. Maybe change vial from Altar of Fangs to give highest secondary instead of random(could also lower the stats provided if it’s not random).
