Thank You For Testing the WoW Forever Beta

The WoW Forever Beta is now closed, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us over the last five weeks of playtesting, data gathering, bug reporting, and feedback.

We’re now quickly moving into a period of a few short days where we will do some focused work on priority issues and the game service itself, so that it will be in good shape for launch day on November 4.

And of course, we’ll open access to the character creation system on Tuesday, October 27, allowing everyone plenty of time to select the ruleset that will define your journey and snag the name that best fits your adventurer.

You won’t have to wait until the game launches to make these big decisions.

Also next week, we’re going to continue with our WoW Forever Podcast. If you haven’t consumed it all, this is a great time to catch up with everything the WoW Forever designers have had to say.

If you can’t get enough WoW Forever info, we’ve got all kinds of details about the game right here on our website. You can learn more about WoW Forever dungeons here, and the Campfire system here, and raid details here.

Again, we’re deeply grateful to have seen so many people find their Forever home, and create new communities, and find friends (old and new) to join on the journey ahead.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you on November 4! Thank you very much!

See you on the 4th!

Please fix the aggro issues before release. The issue is getting put in combat if walking near another player fighting a mob or someone walking past you running away from a mob, sometimes both of these put you in combat even if you aren’t doing anything and not in combat yourself. They mob is supposed to run back to its area not start fighting you.

Thank you for having us! Spent 95 hours playing the beta, reported definetly more than 7 bugs, but forgot to check them for bugs. :stuck_out_tongue:

The community is still waiting on an update to the addon policies due to the ever growing concern of “leveling” addons, which paid guides, which seem to be abusing a greyarea/loophole.

Kaivax, I think it’s time you get the developers to finally speak up about this situation before even more addons start to appear, which also abuse the greyarea/loophole to sell “guides” or other things, which won’t get their addons shutdown :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m sure he’ll post a hotfix correcting that mistake.

Please review Paladins once again, perhaps some feedback and a serious discussion among the developers.. thank you

should we expect any more balance updates to the game?

Was a decent time! Although some people took it a bit too seriously with the early Botting and continual RMT (in a beta!). I hope these occurrences helped/help out the relevant teams so they can better help keep up the integrity of the game when it releases!

Now, if we could just get some clarification or updated official stance about Paid Addons and conflicted parties financial endorsements?

(This man casually forgetting about Scotland/Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, while I continue to forget about Iceland, Azores Canary and Faroe Islands, North-Eastern Greenland, and parts of Portugal (mainland and Madeira.)

Truly sad times until the 4th

Literately no-one cares. It’s an open question, sure, but ever growing concern? Did AI write this?

Yeap every letter that was typed out, was AI generated!

But if you think the phrase “ever growing concern” is something only AI could generate, then it just goes to show that you have received an extremely poor level of education or you have a very poor understanding of the English language.
