Got a question about Pve, 1st: so earlier update gave shaman totems raidwide, Enh and healer shaman gives buffs to spellcaster, why bring elemental ? 2nd: balance druid and feral druid buffs is the same after update, why bring balance druid ?. So what im worried about is, raids are going to be filled with Mage and Warlocks, because they are getting same buffs from melee specs(feral and enhancement) and they are doing more damage because they are not hybrids
Simple answer, there is none.
Unless they get rid of the mentality that Hybrid classes need to be worse and not accepting that specs matter and not classes, this wont change anytime soon!
ye sadly
ofc i want balance or ele to be the best class (what im playing), but i know thats not going to happen, but removing the most important stuff for group/raid that gave them a spot in raids doesnt make sence to me. They also talked about scaling classes so we dont see 4-5 rogues and 4-5 warriors in same raid, but it seems thats exactly what they have done now just for Mages and Warlocks
Nobody’s going to force you to play a certain spec, bro, unless you join a sweaty guild. But if that’s the kind of guild you choose, that’s on you. 90% of the guilds won’t give a f what spec you play as long as you know what you’re doing.
Y’all are talking as if joining a hardcore guild was the only option. It’s funny how you end up inventing problems that you could avoid simply by finding a normal guild
there’s also a problem with enemy nature resist and no debuff or talent to reduce it.
other classes can reduce resistance with debuff, or talents.
it’s an obvious oversight.
According to you, we all can play whatever we want and however we want and 90% of wow players are cool with it.
This just not how this community works anymore. What you described is 2005-2007, first time exploring WoW. Or you coming out of Retail which is homogenized and therefore this might be true, it doesnt matter what you play everything is literally the same.
well i love elemental and balance druid playstyle i have played them since i started along time ago and isnt it okay to put a ? about something i dont understand and get peoples take on it. Im completely okay with what you are saying, thats your take on it. but currently with all the updates, does it look like 1-2 elemental shaman and 1-2 balance druid for buffing spellcaster groups has gone to 0 because melee gives those now and other spellcasters already had higher prio because of damage or mana regen (SP)
In a way the balance/feral change is also an improvement because it will make Balance more attractive for 10 man raiding. At the same time both feral and balance becomes less desirable for 20 man and 40 man raids since having 1 of them is enough.
To make sure we actually see moonkins in 20 man and 40 man, they should change so that leader of the pack and moonkin aura has a weak stacking so that you get 4-5% crit when you have both. 1-2% crit will likely be enough for the sweat lords to bring at least 1 moonkin and 1 feral to a 20 or 40 man raid.
What do you mean enh and resto give raid wide ? Enh and ele are exactly in the same boat. If they give a raid wide totem or buff exclusive to ele and enh. They are gucci. Except some range and gameplay minor issues.
Enh and feral are hybrids. The change is good to feral and moonkin buffs.
They just need to give a raid wide buff for enh and ele. Or a unique totem to ele and a unique totem to enh.(like manatide for resto)
the stacking is actually a good ide, to make sure that both specs are needed ![]()
This will depend on the guild I imagine. There may just be some really good players who can bump out some good numbers.
ye resto has mana tide totem, forgot that Enh talents for WF totem is removed, i wouldnt say the changes is good for druids, because if you have Feral tank, then thats enough for your raid, so tecnically you only need 1 druid now, instead of a balance for spellcaster and a feral for melee dps
Ye well the feral tank wont go out of form to innervate and tranq/rebirth etc while tanking. So I see what you mean but still
No point to bring enha either. You bring 2 resto and have a good day.
MSW weapon still on enha tree which uber garbage. I prob wont even talent out that crap. Tidal focus and trial by fire worth alot more on my opinion.
It’s why I’ve decided to go Holy Paladin as I think there are going to be too many resto shamans kicking around xD
