Making changes too much

Can you please stop messing around with the characters while we are literally going from the end of the beta into the live game… like what was even the point of the beta at this point if your changing everything we just tested before launch anyway… My main has changed like 4x based on stupid changes being made.

So you are not playing Rogue that is for sure  Mage or Paladin it seems  Bad news for you fella. They are gonna mess around even more for certain time after launch. So you should mentally prepare yourself so you do not suffer some emotional damage.

The game will be constantly changing over it’s lifespan. New patches will bring new content yes but will also bring tweaks to classes and racials. That is how WOW has always worked and Forever will be no different.

Can’t wait to level to 60 and see my class nerfed. This will really motivate me to level all other classes to 60. Whatever they might nerf, I’ll have the next best class ready to play. Check-mate, Blizzard. You can’t beat me :joy:

That is what the Beta is for, to figure out what changes need to be made.

That’s precisely what Beta is for though, So Blizz can gather a boat load of data on balancing and how people are playing and then adjust it before launch. It would be worrying if there were none or very few changes between beta and launch. Expect a lot more in the coming days.

The whole point of the beta was to inform Blizzard about what changes needed to be made, not to help you decide what to play.

Running a beta and not making changes would be asinine.

Played hunter in vanila and when i finaly hit 60 they nerfed it to the ground 2 weeks later. that was 3 months of leveling wasted so yeah been there done that, im avoiding hunter this time around.

Changes are good <3. If you like a class play it.

This. Fully agree.

Forever is virtually WoW 2, based on Vanilla.

Vanilla was a series of weekly buffs, nerfs, fixes…and nobody cared, the game was good no matter what.

Same will happen with Forever. After launch, we will get the same nerfs, buffs, fixes…but the game will still be good.

Forget retail mindset people…this is a new game, and it will be changed A LOT for at least the first 6 months.

Play what you like…not what you consider to be good today, because it will be crap tomorrow, then good again next week, and so on, until is settles as VIABLE.

Thy will add new content every 17 weeks, new areas, new dungeons, new things to chase - but they will stick to the areas on the two continents that are still unknown to the players - so no dark portal or further expansions

I get that there will be changes but constantly changing what people pick and changing the reason people are choosing there character means that any decision your making for long term play is pointless cause your character will just be nerfed into the ground no matter what you do.

Lets face it one thing blizzard has consistently always been good at is nerfing the fun away.

Just play all classes. If they nerf them all, nothing has changed.

I would like to have some clarification on that from Blizzard. I think such drastic changes should not be on weekly basis.

There are no changes, the game isn’t live yet. You will be able to view patch notes before launch, or lets be honest, look at them again and again during the launch fiesta of lag.

I’m glad someone else sees it that way. People get too hung up on nerfs and buffs on a game that hasn’t been released yet. And yes, those words don’t really even apply, because of it’s unreleased nature.

They should open up a new BETA after all these changes so people can see if they still like the game…

From my understanding, there will be massive changes and constant like retail. For the game to stay evergreen. But i agree, turning talent trees upside down while ignoring asked changes to specs 4days from release is…a bit weird..

I still plan to main druid. Despite all the nerfs.

You can do that at launch. You are allowed to make a lot of characters and try them out.

Play mage, youll be safe. Mage is Blizz pet, always on top
