What’s the policy on Gbid? Say I’m a gigachad tank organizing 10- or 20-man raids, and there are certain items—like the Heart of Hakkar or some of the idols in ZG—that I’d like to hard reserve for bidding out. Would I be allowed to Gbid those items as payment for organizing the raid and providing tanking services.
I know already that GDKP is not allowed but what about Gbid?
GDKP (Gold-DKP): A raid loot system in which dropped items are auctioned to raid members for in-game gold. The gold collected from those auctions is then divided among the raid participants, usually at the end of the run. This is normally performance based as well in where the organizer takes a 15% cut whereas the rest is distributed according to performance to the participants.
Gbid (Gold Bid): A loot arrangement in which a specific item, or selected items, are auctioned for in-game gold, but the proceeds are not distributed among the entire raid. The gold may instead go to the raid organizer, tank, guild, or another designated recipient, depending on the stated rules of the run.
