7 hours and no invite

My comment may not be popular, but all this whining does you no credit, sir!
They don’t take me to raids - I cancel my subscription (instead of inviting 9 bodies myself).
My class is not meta this season - I’m unsubscribing (instead of experimenting with new classes). And so on…

Lol what an insane comment. Have you seen literally any rogue loot from instances that’s better than bfd gear? Rogue prebis is Hella low compared to basically every other class cos there is literally 0 dungeon drops available

GDKP scum BTFO

Life of a Rogue. Handsdown the worst class at the moment, 0 Utility, very underwhelming damage, no AoE. Not sure why anybody would ever bring a Rogue over a Shaman, a Hunter or even a Feral. The Classic team really needs to add something to Rogues to make them a valuable class to bring.

GS addon and parses must be completely banned from the game to prevent such a behaviour otherwise bring GDKP back and make it great again

Then create your own casual groups and go for 4/6. No one forces you to be sweaty and just like you said there are plenty of non sweaty players. Stop blaming people who want to play the game. The problem is you and your incompetence in being part of the “sweaty” part of the community.

Casuals need to understand that 4/6 or 3/6 is for them. If you don’t like sweaty players then don’t take part in the sweaty runs. Make your own unoptimized group and enjoy the content you can access. Why do you feel like you as a non sweaty player should partake in sweaty content?

The meta is quite bad for p2. There are severe lack of MTs/healers this phase, because of class balance, class supply and player mentality. As a healer you will get into groups no matter what, while mid dps classes struggle. I organized few gnomers and i can tell you there are 10 rogue/hunter/warrior dps applicant for a single healer applicant. As a RL it is logical to cherry pick from dpses because formation time solely based on getting healers, while clear time is reduced by only inviting top dpses. As a paladin main i was in your shoes until rerolled MT, you could do the same or get a priest friend and tell organizers they have to invite you both. It is what it is, its not great but there are atleast options for you.

Casual doesn’t mean your completely clueless about your class or the raid. You are insane if you think 6/6 Gnomer is sweaty.

Find a discord static or guild, Will help you a lot.

I found one like that and we’ve done 42-50 min clears for the past 4 resets or so.

Last night we even had Retri, Melee hunter, Warrior and rogue, Still a 44 min clear.

so today i had a gnomer run with 2 friends of mine, both of them were in there for the first time. we cleared 6/6 even with a terrible group, and my pala had to click buttons 7 times, do 40k healing, and be top dps (only 200 dps but still). was super casual run, i had to tryhard a bit, but 6/6 is very possible even with terrible groups

Are you guys seriously looking at gearscore?

That addon is completely useless, BiS epic WSG bracers have like 16 GS on it while worse items from gnomer have way more.

yeah its a hastle, hang in there brother.

Go reroll as a warrior you willl get a spot 100000%

I never said i cancel my sub. I said i will try to get in raid in couple days/weeks again. I also i dont think im crying here, never blamed someone else. You just argue against someth. u think i am or you dont like.

Pls it helps when u try to be objective and think/read before commenting

I will tell you why. As a PvP player i’m forced to do PVE content to get competative gear, i hate Pve and obviously i gotta wait till summer untill they release PVP stuff

I didn’t mean to offend you, I apologize if it sounded like that. This is, rather, a collective image of people writing on the forum.
Using the old formula “if you criticize, then suggest,” I suggest you assemble a raid yourself. it’s not that difficult, especially on the last day, when the requirements for people are reduced, and everyone goes alts.

Its all good. And i know making own grp or joining guild would make it easier. Like i said and many other people here.

I just can’t shake the feeling that SoD is just a testing ground for something else, they are not trying to improve this version of the game just throwing in whatever they want tested and maybe tune it a bit later.
Right now I feel like Blizzard needs to pay me to play their alpha test, which they will monetize in a later release.
none asked to cripple half of the classes each phase be it melee or caster/heal, they are tunneling us to test exactly what they want tested
Whatever has become of this community is also not compatible with what we were served so far, so even if this was perfect some classes would still struggle.

It has been mentioned before that this could be seen as a beta test for a future classic+. Now if this were true this could be seen as a season of discovery for the developers as much as it is for the players. They’re trying things out, seeing what works and what doesn’t.

In my opinion the problem is mostly about expectations. Many expect things to be perfect, like they’re paying full price for a brand new game, when in reality this is a free product you get when purchasing a subscription for retail.

So yes, maybe we are just paying beta testers. But so what? I’ve been having fun and many other people have as well. It is also worth keeping in mind that in a “new” game changes are common. They happened in vanilla, they’re happening in retail, and they’re happening in SoD. That everything is set in stone like on era is the exception, not the norm.

Enjoy it for what it is.
