Let's just hope she at least has the decency to drop a good mount.

Yeah, she might drop Nathanos.

Because he's a dude with an axe against a character described as 'nigh indestructible'

Daily reminder that orcs with axes are the single most powerful force in all of Warcraft:

Grommash solo'd a Pitlord. Illidan couldn't and it took several DHs to take one down in their cinematic from Legion.

Broxx killed literally thousands of demons on his own and managed to actually hurt Sargeras which is something NO ONE HAD EVER DONE in the history of eternity.

Garrosh crushed Taran Zhu 1v1, and that guy is OP. He then went on and fought against a score of Azeroth's greatest heroes who had previously beaten Arthas and Deathwing and held his own and even then he didn;t die.

Saurfang is described as the best axe wielder on Azeroth by Odyn so if the guys above could accomplish that much, well, imagine what someone potentially even better than them can do. Never, EVER, tell me a dude with an axe couldn't kill Sylvanas.

On topic:

Anyone siding with Saurfang doesn't belong in the Horde. He's literally working with the enemy to bring his Warchief down. This isn't honour. This is treachery. Oathbreaking. Justify it how you like by saying hurr durr Sylvanas is bad but it doesn't change what Saurfang has become: a snivelling, whining, treasonous coward.

Coulda killed, Anduin, ended the war, and then dealt with Sylvanas like a real orc - or at least die trying.
I think Blizzard should stop making games and instead focus on making cinematics.
Everyone's responding really negatively...

...I just think it's cool they're putting in the budget in to make cinematics for quiet character moments. The animation on Anduin's expressions for example is really good.

Imagine being told you're going to get a morally gray conflict. But intead you're handed a burnt bonsai tree with Mist of Pandarias script stapled to the smouldering husk of the plant.

That's this expansion.

The art direction, cinematography, voice acting, lighting, character design, and all that sort of stuff is great. Blizzard's art and cinematics teams continu to be amazing*. But it's definitely brought down by the story.

*I'll even let them off on making a new genn model and just keeping him in wolf form.

It's the Horde vs the Horde vs the Alliance.

The Forsaken are not part of my Horde.

Except he was scared of Malfurion who Sylvanas then proceeded to 1v1.

Sylvanas is massively OP.

Sylvanas was losing their fight, and she was backed up by a bunch of grunts (who're all dead when the player arrives).

Just wait until they start blighting Orgrimmar to make them selves feel more at home.
Sylvanas died to a gunshot to the head one time. She's not massively OP.

*Wasn't massively OP
She is now, with her crazy banshee tricks as shown in all of BFA's cinematics.

To be entirely fair we've not really seen Sylvannas in a great deal of combat post-WC3. There was, what, that dungeon in wrath where she flees?

Oh I'm fine with it, it makes perfect sense. I'm just saying if she's vulnerable to a gunshot you can be sure she can be killed by an orc with an axe.

That was one of Godfrey's cursed bullets, right?

Dunno if Saurfang has one of those lying around.

Where abouts in the quest where he shoots her does it say it uses a cursed bullet? I'm curious.

I don't think it specifically says that Godfrey uses a cursed bullet to shoot Sylvanas, but Godfrey does use Cursed Bullets in his Shadowfang Keep boss fight so it's probably assumed he uses them against Sylvanas.

He shoots her with a rifle. In SFK he uses pistols. The rifle shot sounds like a normal gunshot and has a normal animation. His ability in SFK where he uses cursed bullets has a unique animation and sound effect. Nothing ingame points to it being anything other than a mundane gunshot.
