argus was worse. Nazjatar is like drustvar. Not so difficult to avoid mobs.
In classic was and will be worse. Try to run in eastern plaguelands avoiding spiders and zombies

Argus - 3 different zones with entirely unique landscape, mobs and surroundings.

The storyline is probably the most epic one in WoW. Do you remember “Rejection of the Gift”? I got chills everytime I watched it while progressing my alts.

We helped Illidan, the prophet and many epic characters. We saw what a great evil was hidden in Antorus. We saw many cinematics and cool cutscenes. I remember how it felt. I just wanted to play and play, see what was the final of the questline on 3 islands in space.

Rare mobs were something pretty hard to kill solo. Especially at the beginning. I remember that feeling of being a part of a great team when many different players, english speaking, slavic speaking, german speaking were fighting against these huge mini-bosses. That felt EPIC. And that was a teamwork.

Not to forget invasion and a world boss. Argus had 3 world bosses + 5 or 6 (don’t remember now) different invasion bosses where the zone was unique and felt different. All that content felt pretty badass. I liked it much.

Nazjatar is not Argus 2.0. Unfortunately. It should have been called Azsumar. It looks the same as if you mixed Azsuna and Suramar. And Blizzard called it an entirely new zone… A zone which I travelled on mount from edge to edge within 6 minutes or so.

Mechagon is cool. It’s true. But our main scene Nazjatar look pretty boring.

And what about Naga commanders? How am I suppose to kill at least 2 of them when they spawn so far from each other and are tbh not that hard to kill? I don’t like it. On Argus such mobs had their spawning place and we could kill them all. And yes, these guys were pretty challenging for the lvl we first came to Argus.

PS: I guess, I’m one of many who resubbed hoping 8.2 would re-launch the whole BFA and make it much better. Well, Blizzard-Activision tricked us again, guys.

Mechagon is the better zone, Natzjatar is one of the worst zones in terms of quests and layout around. It is worse than Argus. The only saving grace is that it is easier to get to the flight points in Natztjatar than in Argus.

To the op, the key thing to do is to play in moderation. Trying to play for hours on end is just going to result in burn out. There is only so much you can do and only so many dailies that you can try and do before you get burned out.

Play 1 to 2 hours at a time, do not try to do more than that, alternate between both new zones if you have to or work on something else.

first its much smaller and flat - you get everywhere instantly

second mobs are melting in seconds making it fun to play

8.2 is horrible.

firstly it’s super alt unfriendly

all the essences are annoying to farm and 90% of them are boring ‘x damage over x seconds’, ‘you deal x azerite damage instantly’, ‘heal your target for x amount using your heart of azeroth’. All insanely boring and dull. GIve me my god damn spells back, I don’t want azerite spells, I want NOTHING to do with azerite

then thirdly you spend 2-3 hours questing and what do you achieve? pretty much nothing meaningful, just an inventory full of junk items

Essences, that’s what they’re called, not souls. I’m sorry haven’t played in a while and am not immersed in this patch at all. And indeed, I ahve 12 alts at 110, and only 3 on 120, alts are punishing in bfa.

Thanks, I might check out mechagon if I ever get there. Also have no played in MONTHS and have only touched it for a few hours or so so far. And it’s already boring a/f.

Well we know for sure at least 50% has left in wod. And there are some pretty educated guesses out there. Fact is, wow has hit rock bottom and I would not be surprised if it has less subs that FFXIV. Though 90% is pulled out of my black hole, I’m pretty sure it’s pretty close.

I can absolutly agree with you.
I have been played this expansion till then , with some sort of interuption.
Played about 1-2 month then put into rest.
Since I heared that the 8.2 will be reales soon i was started to be excited.
And it happened again I had subscribed again … ehhh… where should i start it.

The timegate is okay ,because its good for ALTs and players like me who has some sort of loss.
BUT !!! the implementation of this in the game is boring and horrible.
Before the start I think that there will more fun and interesting story quest line which will introduce Nazjatra , the conflict etc.
And instead What we got? A constantly grinding and boring daily quests AGAIN!
Such as kill 25 horde player… okay … then kill 25 murlocs … ahhh okay …
Kill 15 Hydra wtf ???

The story has been dealt with: okay sooo … we were shipwrecked ohhh but wait … there is a lay line here hmm …come and lets see …ohh so you can use your azerite power to open a teleport? GOOOD … now you can go anywhere anytime…
My question is: seriously is that all ???
We shipwrecked by Queen Ashara and her naga forces and then we can just jump in and out from Nazjatar anytime ?? why ??

Mechagone has the same problems as Nazjatar
There are 0 story; 0 fun … just grinding and kill the oposite faction’s player as brainless.

However there are good points : The musics and the Zones arts are look nice , and the atmosphere would be good IF the quests would be interesting and entertaining.
And if we had got a good story telling…

Sadly for me this patch is a BIG disappointment.

Many reasons. Starting from the already said about not being happy with some features to leaving simply cause they are no longer interested in the game(like me. I played FFXIV for a while back. I do not no longer. Is it because the game sux or is bad? Of course not. I am simply no longer interested in it…for the moment anyway).

A guess is one thing. But using your “guess” to get your point across or to “increase the value of your argument” deserves ridicule at the most of the time.

I really hope you do see the difference between.(just an example. Not my real thoughts)
I personally think that 60% of the players left.
Vs
60% of the player base left because of flying! If Blizzard removes flying then the 60% will return!

I am using my “guess” to prove that flying is bad for the game.

in vanilla you were a adventurer, now a champion, I mean I could have killed it alone tbh. Retail wow is sadly easy cake walk. Retail wow offers no challenge or social aspect whatsoever in the overworld.

I’m also a fan of wow, but retail keeps getting worse with each xpac and patch and that makes me sad. Fanboing serves nobody, being critic does. I fear that 9.0 will be horrific modern wow trash as well, and that might be the point where I will not buy into a xpac.

Still to this day only time i been dazed is when i have ran like a complete tool through pack of mobs. But unlike people who moan and cry on forums guess what i have done?

I have done the marvelous thing that seems to be too difficult to understand for the people who cry about the daze is that i don’t ride through pack of mobs anymore like i did 12 years ago.

Yup, we’ve done them both now, like 7 quests each, maybe more, lets make it 20, and than world quests, and rares for the other lmfao. Huge bummer, this will not keep me subbed. Might try to unlock flying with my time and than GG till 9.0 or something if that’s any good.

And the grind for this crappy mount, why would I bother, so so boring all. It’s all meh so far.
