5 days and still counting…
I got my response 9 days after making the ticket, and when I did it said the average wait time is 11 days.
My guess is it will take 8-10 days and ignore the average wait time.
Me too but you get only one response apparently. The GM didn’t fixed my issue so my character will be locked for two weeks now I think.
I understand the waiting time but answered tickets should get an increased priority if they didn’t fixed the issue in the first try.
I would imagine that re-engineering those security protocols to allow logins from home would take quite a while to perform, and would lessen the security of those critical accounts.
Ever heard of a VPN? Pretty sure Blizzard employees use it when connecting from home.
Imagine relasing content so broken that 20% of your playerbase want to talk to you. They didn’t expect ticket avalanche when they relased unfinished content.
Made a ticket 6 days ago and now I still have over 7 days on my wait time.
Oh dear and i just opend a ticket today and since 16 hours no response… with what i read here it seems that i will face a long waitingline…
They seem to be prioritizing certain kinds of issues atm, Freyria. Issues that stop you giving them money seem to be the highest priority, so make sure you correctly categorized your issue.
Also, don’t be tempted to close and reopen your ticket as this sends you back to the end of the queue.
4 days for me already.
Account was hacked, characters were transferred. Good job.
Thanks Trovlak it`s more then a day now. Maybe i should start a bet with someone to see how long this will take…
Update: saw that i got now a timer when it, maybe, will be noticed. It says in 2 DAYS and 2 HOURS! i hope this is a joke…
well, at least you’re able to create a ticket. I figured I’d create one via this site since customer support seems to be down, but apparently I can’t. all the support stuff is only a terrible search engine.
I seriously cant understand how this is still an issue, i mean a friend of mine wanted to faction change his druid, its been 4 days and its “in queue” and with a ticket response rate of 20 days. Customer appreciation is pure garbage at the moment, or i guess thats just EU as usual
My brother in law was working from home dealing with mortgages as he’s a banker, If he can securely deal with that and personal information including bank details and mortgage transactions etc I’m sure Blizzard GMs could.
Anyone defending wait times of 10-20 days is beyond belief for me. I’m sure Blizzard wouldn’t even defend it.
Please tell me what company he works for, so I can make sure I am not one of their customers.
The idea of someone at home being able to write my account details down on a piece of paper for later abuse does not bear thinking about.
Theres a reason why bank call centers ban notepads, and any other method of making notes, and are highly monitored.
This thread is 10 months old, or three months old. Neither require a response.
What Dottie said - it’s about 24 hours at the moment.
As was mentioned, this thread is rather old, so no longer serves its original purpose.
