9 Heroic kills and no axe

Yes, I don’t like how Blizzard design legendaries.

There should be at most 10 players per realm with a Legendary item. They should be irrelevant for the average player - just a marvel they sometimes gaze at with awe, like the Black Qiraji Tank.

That’s what a true Legendary item should be about. Supreme rarity.

In my opinion legendary acquisition should take around 3 weeks (max 5 weeks) to naturally prolong the desire to play for people who play for some time at the beginning of a season and then drop the game.

By the beginning of January I hit my goal and got 3200 rio and I was already done with this season but still didnt have my legendary. If i would get the legendary by the end of December i would try to reach 3300-3400 rio even in a queue simulator called m+ as a warrior. Even though 2 weeks later I got the legendary I already had no motivation so I stopped playing.

I was very disappointed by the drop rate and its power. At the very beginning i knew that legendary is a curse, not a blessing, because obviously blizzard will balance 2h classes as if they had legendary. Still remember how stupidly dumb looked excitement of people on forums because 2h classes are getting legendary. Similar memories when thorgast was discussed and it turned out dogpoop.

In case others don’t understand it doesn’t work this way, you do not need to do each difficulty. If you just go and do Heroic it’s all your luck from all lower attempts wrapped up into your heroic kill.

Congrats to the axe!
I still don’t have it, either with my main or other 2 alts :face_exhaling:

Thank you. I honestly wasn’t expecting to get it before I managed to get my raid bis trinket. Easier to get lege than trinket drop :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I hope you get it soon!!!

Blue became the new green, purple became the new blue, orange became the new purple.

But on a different note, RNG loot is just plain stupid. I’m OK with not getting a reward if I can’t beat a challenge, but having to rely on luck deters me from even trying.

No it really wouldn’t. It would defeat the purpose of an mmo. Earning gear and slowly increasing your power.

in all my runs non axe class i never saw one drop
bad luck protection is either small 0.1% or a scam

So ppl who get lucky and win their legendary on the first week, or raiders who do split runs to get a full set instantly are not playing this MMO the correct way?

They put extra effort in and are rewarded based on the effort they put in. I dont understand why this is suddenly a bad thing in a mmo. Rather then the entire point

And what about people who get legos or bis rare trinkets on the first attempt? Should theirs scale down since they put in less effort than me who farmed the same content a dozen times?

You did the same content it just took longer for yours to drop then theirs. Again i dont see the issue. People are just impatient

People don’t like unequal pay. As you said we did the same content so why the difference in rewards?

Funny how people didnt seem to complain much about this before df

About too much RNG loot? Yeah, nobody ever raised this as a problem over the last 20 years, ever.
There never was bad luck protection, bonus rolls or other attempts at mitigating it. Ever. You’re right.

People seem to whine more now like they don’t understand what an mmo is anymore. Your not going to get full max ilvl bis in a week

You’re still deflecting. Some do get bis trinkets and legendaries right away, so unless you consider luck a skill there isn’t much more to be said.
This isn’t classic anymore where a 6 month patch means people actually play for 6 months, nor do I want to have to repeat the same challenge dozens of times because it’s just pathetic, artificial extension of content.

And stop with the hyperboles, or the only reply you’ll get is:

some comments feel like they arent worth anything more

100% agree. Like when someone says “you need to work hard for your trinket/legendary” when in fact it’s just pure luck whether you get it on week 1 or 20.
