[9.2.5] Party Sync over level 50 doesn't grant normal XP

The main reason I was wanting to play the latest patch, Only to be disappointed and let down.

Party sync 9.2.5

“Removed the experience point reduction that is applied to level 51–60 characters while in Party Sync.” Just tried party sync at level 52, I’m getting 80-800xp per quest. What’s the point? Was looking forward to this change and it’s just turned out to be pretty much pointless? What’s the difference from the last patch and now?
