99% waiting 1% playtime

Gear is the means to reaching your goals, M+, raiding.

I do not think gear matters per se; but it is the requirement for success in M+ and raiding. What I mean is you are more likely to hear “I clear +20/I got 8/8 Mythic” than, “I am 400 ilvl”.

If you do not raid or do M+ I suppose you really have no need for gear…

I haven’t had much issues pugging at all this season.

Randoms? 80% of the player base is casual, as a casual player myself I really rely on random groups in M+ to progress with my character.

that was your mistake
+13 doesn’t need 395, 380-385 is fine there in general
with 395 ppl going much far than +13, at least in +17-18
and yea, there are no sense in running <16 keys since 418 crafted reagent drops only from 16

God forbid you meet new people in a mmorpg.

Don’t even bother replying to this dude. Seems like a serial troll always being the victim. Now let me show you what ignoring someone means.

This thread is an embarrassment. Start to finish. Shut it down because it’s worthless.

I still do not know how to “ignore” people on forums. It says “profile is private”…

I expect m+ to become less appealing (even) soon:

-End of dungeon rewards are scarce and irrelevant once you have all your pieces.
-Most people will try to get the +15 title and the 2k RIO , once they get it you simply do some easy m+ for valor and slowly upgrade (big timegating here)

-There is a very little reward for doing +20s considering how hard it is to pug them , so when you’re done with 15s in short people will stop playing m+ as there is no reward, only frustration ahead.

I don’t know what narcotics you’re on but what you are describing is some fantasy which is not close to reality.

Yeah as dps it is painful, unless you started very early and geared up. You are also kicked/removed from groups as dps instantly.

As much as this angers me,i do have to agree .

Even tho m+ is fastest and best way to gear up if you ask me.

But yeah, unless u got premade/guild whatever, you can either buy boost or give up on that content.

In the end you’re stuck in game not being able to do content fully - which will end up with players probably quiting.

That’s why WoW probably doesn’t have big influx of new players who stay for long .

that sounds like pugging to me.They all want the highest keys even if they are not skilled enough for it

than why u expect 395 item level XD … and u are expecting that is going your key instead that u join to others

You guys maybe should lower your “standards” I can barelly get into +10 with 390ilvl

Click your portrait.
Go to preferences.
Where it says “account” on the drop down, go to “users”.
Type in the users name (suggestions will appear as you type)
Pick time frame.
Done.

Pugging is viable, the problem is and tbh most hours i can get groups together pretty fast, the issue is, the OPs demanding a ilevel Above the Dungeon hes trying to do, thats never going to go down well.

If u realistically think about it, people were doing +15s at 370-380 in week 1, hes now upping the ilevel requirements AFTER the dungeons have gotten easier. at 395 ur basically aiming at +20s.

Why would a Player geared for a +20, join a 13.

also, I assure u, any new player whos unlucky enough to travel this game in PuGs is doomed to not stay long. The PuG Enviroment is just too toxic for a new player to get involved with.

the only hope for new players is basically driving down the concept of joining a guild to do content with. this games saving grace, is how good it is to play within a Guild / premade. litterally, its pug enviroment aint going to retain any player

no MMORPGS pug enviroment will retain players lol.

I am fresh new player, started WoW with DF.

Have to admit i got pretty far with pugs only
Cant really join guild cause of my real life so i cant commit to come ON at certain times and to stay online for 1-2hours whenever i am ON.

407ilvl with raid N & H 8/8.

Yeah Pug environment is bad,but i think that’s due to players toxicity and not general rule of thumb for any MMO.

Think that WoW has most toxic community then any MMo that i played, ever.

Im personally stuck atm doing +16 keys for craft regent , finding a grp as dps is hard enough - especially for some classes.

And running your own key is challenging also - cause of many leavers if it’s not perfect run .

Only thing actually that still keeps me staying in WoW is that i can upgrade my gear via Valor and i can reach - 410-415ilvl when i max it out?

If then i wont be able to do +16 keys i will probably quit, cause i will be stuck in game not being able to upgrade/get better any further.

M+ guilds rarely demand comittment to specific hours, their generally groups of players with sporadic playtimes to simply ask about when online with.

Isnt perfect ofcourse without comitted hours, but can atleast help concerning hzving a tank or healer to invite so u arent completely alone. Discords also very good to give tips / tactics on the fly.

Also pugs can be oki, its as extreme as some enjoy to make out. But ive seen pugs get real harsh towards learning players.

Im glad ur enjoying it, welcome to the game

Also gratz on managing to grab that name in proper spelling

Networking and friends will help for sure once ur at this level, its certainly doable. But yeah as i say

With friends networking etc etc. U have a larger range of keys which makes pushing rio alot easier compared on depending on urself everytime.

Croas faction play / battlenet has made it easier to meet people, and cross faction guilds being talked about will make having huge guilds for this sorta thing easier aswell ofcourse.

Being on at the same time as 5 pthers in a guild of 300+ players is always likely even if u only log on to do 1 or 2 keys at a time

That’s all true what you said .

Well i wont quit immediately cause i really like the game,i will probably try and find M+ guild first.

  • Ty for the name :D. Couldn’t think of a good name for my alt,so this came to mind.

U need help…
