I just tend to think “If X isn’t defending themselves then it must be true”. I’m always too obsessed with trying to clear things up no matter how hard people won’t listen.

You’re making assumptions out of nowhere and imply that you know what other people think by this:
If you really, really haven’t done what they imply you have…why bother defending yourself in the first place / caring what they think?

I can’t help you than giving you this advice, though. What you choose to do is up to you. But at the same time, if you’re that adamant about it, I don’t think you should be adamant after attempting to clear things up once. 
It’s just a bit confusing for me but I do know what you mean.
Nobody is going to tell you when a mage casts greater pyrobla-…nevermind actually. Run along then, tell your manager you are ready to spam chains of ice for two hours on end non-stop.

Nothing personal but truth? There’s not truth, well… we could say everyone has their own truth (or what they consider to be true). The only thing that’s certain are facts and what I see and understand here is that OP wants to do a guild for achievements and social purposes. I don’t support the OP idea because seems more ”we want to hang out in Goldshire and talk about silly things like ERP”.
Now, I consider myself a really casual ‘RPer’ and the main reason I joined AD was to RP, sure I don’t RP because experiences, shyness, silliness but since I joined the forums and saw with my eyes how much harm my behavior is doing to the community I decided that I’ll finally try to join a RP event! (I though it would never happen and sure I’m gonna feel like trash after doing mistakes but at least I’ll try).
In my opinion a purely ‘OOC’ guild has no place in this realm. I do OOC stuff and I don’t feel any necessity to join one; WoW offers a large variety of activities like achievement farming, tmog farming, raids, M+, etc right, but you can find other people that want to do those things on a ‘normal RP guild’ or just join another realm and find friendly people that play the the game as you do.
See my character, she’s not in a guild because I refuse to join a PVE guild, why someone would join a PVE guild on a RP realm?
Again, nothing personal. I don’t know you and I don’t know your past nor your present but maybe you can clear one of my numerous doubts: why would you join a PVE on this realm?

One thing I’d love to see is actually more RP. Someone pointed out on this topic Boralus; when I used to play Alliance I thought the Tavern would be full of people RPing day and night. I guess isn’t really a thing or maybe I didn’t notice since many were idle having questionable conversations.
Same goes for Dazar’alor, I go there and AFK when I take a break of the game and I think it’s actually a bad thing to do, many can call me hypocrite because I do it but feel the influence of ‘OOCers’ is overwhelming and contiguous. Most of the thing I see is people from the same guilds and a few interesting TRP profiles here and there.
It’s a shame really…
Edit: again hypocresy, because I call them ‘OOCers’ and I don’t RP much. Probably my opinion isn’t valid for some but I strongly think this kind of people that join a RP realm just because they want to see RPers/be realm first because ‘it’s cool’ and have near to no interest on RP should not roll on this realm.
Edit 2: I remember one time there was a Troll on Nazmir RPing, many pasted with their mounts above him and doing OOC stuff without having any consideration nor respect.
People play this game, people do OOC stuff but people also RP and everyone should be aware of that when they join a RP realm.
I think the main problem here is that there’s no respect, ‘OOCers’ (again) don’t respect others having fun with things that they don’t understand.

Depends on the tavern you went to, there is a tavern in Boralus that i rp a few times already but it’s on the other end of the city, away from the portals and other ooc stuff, oocers have no reason to be there (other than trolling) so it’s one of the feww places in Boralus where you can actually rp.

Yes, i did and still do a lot of content ( mount and mog farming, rep grinding, old raids and dungs), wouldn’t be where i am if i didn’t, and i did it without being in an ooc community, so no, we don’t need ooc guilds to do content, such guilds only do harm in an RP realm.

Good luck with the guild, @Skumdor! You seem like a nice person and I totally get what bothered you with most guilds, the whole being there but not even talking in /g and just wanting some company as a casual player. Don’t be discouraged if getting people to join seems difficult around now, the time between patches brings a drought most of the time.

I also support you @Skumdor, and loads of people who don’t post on the forums support you too!
I wish your guild to prosper whatever content you wish to enjoy, and that you recruit as many players as you need.
Keep in mind that every single player is a master of his own WoW subscription, and being told in an e-bully fashion by some strangers that you are not allowed to do what you want with your own money is humorous at best.
