some reviews might say it’s samey and i can understand that, it is a rather old franchise, but i love what Crystal Dynamics have brought to it, if samey is amazing graphics, good gameplay, a nice challenge, more exploration, less combat, great narrative and characters then that’s fine with me.
a little warning though, for some, it has an annoying bug that they still haven’t fixed with the dialogue, something about a conflict with the language in the steam launcher that i don’t understand in the slightest, for me it means changing the languge in the steam launcher to anything other than English (game still plays in English), i know, it’s a mild faff but the game is completely worth it nonetheless.
i’ve said many times that WoW needs this, it needs a new studio, fresh talent with the same vision that the original creators had, i don’t expect it anytime soon 
i do accept that many more will disagree though

this was a brilliant read and explained a lot of wow woes hope you continue on your wow journey at a later date .
on another note i to started wow in dec 2004 on the americen servers as there were no others at this time when the eu servers launched we were offered free transfers to any eu server we picked, now all these years later i to am fed up with the wow shenannigans of late and am thinking of leaving.

You point out good things , That’s how many are feeling including streamers. Most of us has a good memories about Wow if it was raid, story, Long pvp fights , arena, Have fun with guild members , Defeating that one boss with your guild after 100 wipes and so on, Many guild members left game as well , Many have same Dilemma like you “including me”, Good luck.
At this point community fight for N1 against , League of legend community in toxicity.

This post actually contains everything wrong with the current game. Shame that simps are flagging the post.
I totally agree that wrong things started with Legion but i don’t have a single memory about getting punished this much if i wanted to play different spec or do multi content ( even considering Legion ap gatekeeping). I started as fury during CN and fury turned out to be extremely bad. Had to recraft my lego to respec arms which even without legendary and proper gear gave like %30 dps increase. At the end of CN fury somewhat become viable ( after receiving like %20-30 ish buff lol) and respec fury and now again same thing is happening but this time i don’t really care about anything. My guild got destroyed during cn mythic progression because of tbc leaks and we had to stop and i kinda have no reason to min max anymore. Btw those meta changes made me recraft 4 max lvl legendaries during CN and that hurt a lot. I also can not pvp unless i respec into something viable for pvp and guess what conduit energy is keeping me away from doing that. I used to be able to do 1-2 arena games after the raids and only thing it demanded was a tome or being on a rested area. I do know many people having same class as an alt just to play pvp atm.
