Kill list of merchants who sided with the Sunreavers
Unfair Trade - Quest - World of Warcraft
Cutting off the escape routes
Nowhere to Run - Quest - World of Warcraft
Murder and unjust confiscation of victims property
Cashing Out - Quest - World of Warcraft
These were all quest given to you by the leader of the silver covenant. Take note of the wording, the way she talks about them and names of the quests.
That is not a loyal daughter wanting to go home, that is a bitter and angry warmonger seeking death on her own people.
And those are the alliance quests, there is also the horde side which paints a similar picture of the covenant.
Maybe they took the murder of their leaders’s husband too personally, I am not sure. If you have done the Azure and Bloodmyst Isle quests, it portays the blood elves not in a positive way. Also the high elves, who didn’t joined the horde were ostracized by Lot’Thremar, if I remember correctly. I am not saying injustice can be justified by another injustice, but storywise the Silver Covenant had their own reasons to hate the Sunreavers.

Agreed - the new race is insanely borring and has no life to it. No real story and hardly any connection to the universe.
Gnolls or Ogres could be a better race option … Thinking about Gnolls would rock!
That’s why we’re getting an entire zone about the Harannir, to frantically slap together a backstory and motivation for them to get involved with the Alliance or Horde, which is a considerable U-turn from their TWW portrayal as a secretive lot who want to stay out of other people’s business.
Said Blood Elves are later revealed to be Kael’thas Sunfuries. At the time Kael already betrayed Illidan and joined the Legion forces. A fact that was unknown to the Regent and Wider Blood Elf Population.

Well either they had a change of heart or we are getting into their business against their wishes and along the way they’ll learn isolation is not what the cool kids do and join us instead.
if that sounds familier its because thats what happend with the earthen.
I mean I’m still waiting for the tortollan race from bfa to become playable race and I’m like maybe only one who has ever asked to have them as one but blizz makes some avatar race instead that I dont like for the next expansion

I think they might add a new class and possibly open some more classes to all races as they were planning on anyways. So I think during midnight we might see priest or paladin opened to all playable races. Given the nature of the expansion.
We could have gotten Vrykul/Ogre/Naga/Etherials, but no, we just had to get yet another 50 shades of stopid elfs, because of Blizzard being morally bankrupt for ideas. What’s next, we’re gonna get wheelchair elfs, randbow elfs. Sometimes i think Blizzard needs to be put back at their jobs instead of standing outside spouting nonsense.

Ye its pretty stupid.
There has been high elves AND trolls in the area for ages and we could have had both of them as option. High-Elves to alliance side to kick butt AND have amani trolls to horde to boost the tensions of war between them all and even maybe some in fighting.
But nooo… we get hobo elves that did jack all in the previous expansion and have yet another goddam boring character leading them
