TL;DR - I am looking for a raiding guild that can teach me how to heal in raids. I have Discord, and am available from 9pm UK time every day; I am also willing to pay for a realm transfer, but not a faction change. Also, I should point out that I cannot change my availability: it is 9pm UK (10pm server) onwards, due to circumstances beyond my control.
I have reached the point of my time in WoW where I’ve realised I am not going to get any further if I don’t find a raiding guild to join. Only problem is, I can’t seem to find one on my current realm that is willing to take me, since I haven’t raided properly since WOTLK. I am a complete novice at raiding, and often find myself being removed from pugs because I’m not meeting the wild expectations of the other group members. Heck, I even got kicked out of LFR once because I apparently ‘wasn’t healing enough,’ ignoring the fact I’d only just hit max level for that expac (Legion, IIRC) and was doing LFR to try and get some basic gear.
I’m Guardian/Resto spec, though I honestly prefer healing over tanking, and I’m looking for a guild that has the time and patience to bring me up to speed as a competent raider. I am available for raids pretty much every day after 9pm UK time (10pm ST). I have Discord, though I cannot speak after 10pm due to living with other people who go to bed at that time (the walls in this house are paper thin). I can still listen, though, so I can still be told strategies and whatnot. These times cannot be changed due to circumstances beyond my control, so please don’t expect me to alter them in any way; it simply cannot be done.
I am willing to pay for a realm transfer (not to a PvP realm; RP is fine, as long as you accept the fact I won’t actually do any RP), but I cannot stretch to the cost of a faction change. For too long I’ve felt as though I have been blocked from end-game progression because of the attitudes of others; that needs to change, and if moving away from my current realm helps me, so be it.
