I’m glad you did actually, that was how I found out about that website initially. At first I thought that it was a big joke, but once I realised that website was made in all seriousness, even I got really queasy over the whole Lilynore “enterprise”.

Making Goldshire Lux the Forbidden Fruit is not really the solution to the problem
A bit like why many attempts to discourage tobacco use/cigarette smoking often run into Do Not Do This Cool Thing and/or become the Stealth Cigarette Commercial. Too strong of an emphasis on the dangers to life? Congratulations, you’ve now turned smokers into badasses who are willing to risk their lives to look cool! Too much of a “smoking is not a thing normal well-adjusted people do” approach? Oh look, now you have a bunch of people who consider smoking rebellious and a way to lash out at “normal, well-adjusted society,” or who intentionally take it up as a form of attention-seeking for how “self-harming” they are. Proclaiming it as instantly addictive to anyone who as much as looks at a cigarette? Making your campaign laughable to social smokers or to people who try it and go “meh.”
The more successful attempts to discourage it rely on focusing on immediate/near immediate damage to appearance or performance, or on educating people that tobacco companies want people to view smoking as Forbidden Fruit rather than “being made into consumers of a product that slowly demands ongoing consumption, ongoing payment for consumption, and threatens their lives and health as it does.”
It was just an example, but imho, we are at the moment dangerously close to this
Always keeping GL threads on the top of the list not going to “force” Blizz to do the necesarry steps, heck, obvious nothing will do that this point, sadly… just more and more people become curious, what the hell is all the trumoil about this, especially those whom the “target” such Jade Witches… 
Sure, this is just imho, but I think have some merit

I’d argue that if anything it makes ERP a forbidden fruit which has pretty much always been the case so no change there.
This doesn’t apply to the OP or their guild however due to the OP’s tendency to consistently make decisions that make them look less bright than what people think of them at the given time. The result of this is (although I am likely to eat a ban for even pointing this out) that they’re become more a figure of mockery than scorn.
People are more likely to join OP’s guild out of feeling bad for them rather than the taboo aspect since the latter is about looking ‘cool’ more than anything else.

I agree that Teens are toxic. Hell they are. Yes they come with skill, but they luggage in the toxicity.
That’s true of literally anyone.
Blaming their age is asinine.

You have a very low amount of experience in gaming around and interacting.
It’s really not just teens that show toxicity in games. I doubt they’re even the majority of the cases where you meet insufferable people in LFG/premade groups/guilds.

Everyone is capable of being toxic, I’ve come across plenty of adults who are incredibly vile with their attitude. To only say it is teens is ridiculous.

this thread is what we in the biz call “having a normal one”
One of the worst people I dealt with in WoW was a formerly whiny and endlessly coddled-by-her-guild teenager who grew into a dramatic, unpleasant and incredibly difficult adult who still felt entitled to being coddled and fussed by her guild.
Teens at least are still growing up. When adults are toxic there is no excuse.

Despite teenagers still being young and what not, they’re still at a stage in their life where they can tell the difference between right and wrong, nice and rude etc. Heck, some of the nicest and smartest people I know are under the age of 18.
If you’re categorising someone as toxic because of their age then that’s quite frankly rude and pretty dumb.

tbh the jade witch pretty much wrecked himself on the stream. Asmon didn’t have to do anything, once Shaggy came into the discussion GL had already been metaphorically destroyed.
