The local shark hunter and captain of The Red Sparrow might just take a swing by and see all these new mainlanders who invades his lovely city.
16/08/2018 18:43Posted by LlinaraWish I could attend, but sadly I'm busy all weekend. Hope everyone who does attend will have a great time though!
The Dynasty is currently setting up management for the tavern. This means there will be a manager that opens the tavern and sparks conversation a few times a week. We are also looking for chefs, barman/barmaids, security personnel and runners to keep the tavern stocked and buzzing.
If you feel like it, you can join the community group at https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/invite/rMEG7RTWYm?region=EU&faction=Alliance for the floating lotus and ask for either madam Fang or me.
OOC this means we ask a few people to regularly visit the location to spark all different kinds or rp as we really want Boralus to become the next rp hub for many. The city is beautiful and lends itself well for many kinds of rp. Come join us this Saturday and see if you like it well enough to come more often!

Not gonna promise I won't be back to drink the pandarens under the table or start any tavern brawls.

You can join us next time! This will be a recurring event.
Ah neat! :D I'll definetly join next time!
I wish I could come for a lil' brawl!
HUZZAH!
HUZZAH!
Strange that a Pandaren affiliated with a group calling Itself Honourbound sides with the horde and wants to come ruff up a well organized alliance Pandaren tavern. How rude.
If my character will ever have any reason to go to Kul Tiras, you might expect this Knight to attend someday! It's a sweet idea.
What time is this grand opening? :)

Saturday 8 pm Server, though we already have a huge interest so we might have sharding issues as we will possibly fill a raid. Join our community to reserve spot!
Hello there, I must admit that I like the idea of Boralus Tavern Nights. However, I think it's quite premature for a Pandaren to setup shop and open a tavern in Boralus.14/08/2018 18:43Posted by FangwunGreetings my friends in the Alliance. We are all exploring the new land of Kul'tiras and I could not help but notice how wonderful this new city of Boralus is. Thus I believe we should bring some life to it.
The Wun Dynasty will be offering catering and brews in a chosen tavern inside Boralus at Hook Point with a splendid view and exotic tastes from Pandaria. We invite you all to refresh and resupply, socialise and prepare for the adventures to come!
Note: As we understand people explore the expansion we will be opening this weekend. Feel free to join us for some lovely RP. Enjoy!
For instance, we were told at the very start of our questing experience in Kul Tiras by Taelia*; "Here we are - Boralus Harbor. Aside from Proudmoore Keep, it's the most heavily guarded part of the city. And the only place most visitors ever get to see."
Another point is that Kul Tiras has yet to join the Alliance and that the general population comes across as quite reserved in their opinions towards mainlanders. They have afterall been solitary eversince Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore died at Theramore.
Ofcourse, it's your prerogative to decide to go ahead with the tavern night or not. Perhaps it would be more suitable to actually host it in Boralus Harbor to begin with?

As traders from Paw'don - Pandaria, we might support the Alliance but we are not part of it. The crown of Stormwind has no authority over us and we are assisting our allies and friends by choice and not law.
Thus as free traders the Alliance blockade does not apply to us. I am very glad to see guilds being active as local authorities and factions and thus I will meet you in character to secure a permit for the event so we are all in the same page.
This is an excellent opportunity to start some Rp!

I have seen Panda NPCs setting up shop in Boralus?

There are a lot of furballs in Kul'Tiras in general.
Looks like a good idea, and it gets people rping in one of the shiny new zones that quite frankly look gorgeous. Boralus in general has great rp potential so it's encouraging to see people going to use it so early on.
Well considering we can't play Kul Tiran humans at the moment I don't think there are many other options at the moment. Besides if we start going down the road of "oh its too early" "oh they aren't part of x faction" we're going to have another Pandaria and WoD situation where no one rped on the continents when they were relevant.

Another important update about our Tavern:
After a constructive meeting with the Kul'tiras Admiralty we have an official permit to operate in the city. Yet there will be some restrictions according to the local law as following that all those who attend should keep in mind:
I: No criminal elements. Pirates, smugglers and so on.
II: No Alliance outfits displays. Make sure you are off duty and do not advance to patriotic displays or loud conversations concerning the Alliance and how great Manduin is...he is but we will not scream it in respect to the Kul'tiran guards.
III: No demons...beasts or otherwise dangerous companions in the Tavern.
IV: No bar brawls (Sorry Toso)
V: No illegal substances
As we earn the trust of the Kul'tirans these rules may be subjected to change but for now are in effect. Those who do not comply will be removed by our guards.
Enjoy!

Hrm.... maybe another time then...
A shame really.
