Recruit Brightmere, 18 - Killed in ActionNine smothered by plague and throats slit, doomed to be used as spare parts in the Forsaken’s army or risen anew to walk Azeroth in restless torment, destined to meet their old friends once more on the battlefield.
One poisoned by the Serpent’s Sting, too far gone to save by the time the fighting had ended.
Two cut down once more by the Forsaken, poisoned, skin melted by acid.
The last and youngest crushed, maimed and broken by the onslaught of a vicious, savage Tauren.
The loss of these men echo through the 82nd Infantry Battalion, the first true in-combat losses since the Fourth War. Though their sacrifice was not in vain as the brave men and women of the Stormwind Army and the Alliance did their duty and managed their goals, to bring justice back to the Hinterlands for the slain sons.
“If not us, who else?”
We have recently just partaken in the Hinterlands RP-PVP campaign and boy, it has been quite a ride. The vibe has been absolutely immaculate and the foundations we have laid for future cooperation, engagement and fun with both friends and frenemies is something everyone in the Hounds are excited for.
Looking towards the horizon and what’s in store for us next, only time will tell, but the Light knows we will all be very, very busy.
