Dear Sir or Madam,
I trust this letter has found you well. You are cordially invited to attend ‘A Night Evermore’ where we will gather and socialize over sharing some good food and drink. The purpose of this evening is to raise funds for charity, so spare a copper coin for the evening.
Your best dress is requested for this fine evening of revelry, meticulously timed amidst the current war – who is to say we do not deserve a night to ourselves? Activities will take place on the night to keep you entertained.
The location of this esteemed evening will take place in Ironforge within the Hall of Explorer’s very own museum where wonderous artifacts from across Azeroth are put on display, courteously allowed by the museum’s Curator. The gathering will take place on the twentieth day of the fourth month at the eighth bell, please do not be late!
Please respond via letter by the thirteenth day of the fourth month so that I can prepare for who is in attendance.

EVENT PREMISE
This event is focused on creating a little bit of social role-play for the people of the Alliance. It will eventually lead into a small story-line that I intend to roll out provided this event is well received. I’d like to play on the term of creating some form of ‘prestige’ whereas those who are considered wealthy (and those who like to play the part, regardless of their perceived wealth) can come and be able to contribute to the betterment of ‘Stormwind and the surrounding areas through charitable contributions.’ Of course, it doesn’t just have to be wealthy people, anyone is free to join.
If this becomes a recurring event, then I will gradually add more activities/ask for helpers to make this far better and intriguing!
This is my first attempt at a public event, so I’m keeping it relatively small with a slight activity, but I do hope it will be well received.

EVENT DETAILS:
There will be some activities that take place to keep you all interested and involved. Though it is nothing too big or excessive, the location boasts ample opportunities to interact with.
Opening Speech – 20:00-20:05
A little welcome speech by Arienne to thank those who have attended and to thank the curator for allowing the evening to be hosted here. Announcements will be made as to what activities will be taking place.The Food is Served – 20:10 – 20:30
Once everyone is inside and given a moment to adjust, the food and drink will be brought through to the hall and set up on various tables. This is a moment where everyone can socialize and greet one another while enjoying a small drink. Simultaneously, sign ups to the Best Dressed Competition will take place, for a small fee of 1 Copper Coin that will be given to charity.Best Dressed Competition 20:30 – 21:00
The assigned judges, who are a mystery to the group will have gone around and inspected the crowd to see who is appropriately dressed. The prizes being a bottle of fine aged wine or whiskey.The Quiet Room Opens 21:00 – To End
This involves a small speech as to Arienne’s intentions for the event to begin with, and what she wants to do for the future, the charity, so to speak. The intention of the Quiet Room will be shared; however, it is easily accessible and mostly used for appropriate discussion. Here anyone in attendance with a specific agenda or project they want to pitch may do so. It’s called ‘The Quiet Room’ mainly because it is a library, and it is for the opportunity to talk without the added noise from the outside, allowing for more focused discussions. This will also be where the donations table will be situated.Dessert is Served, Enchanting Show! 21:15 – 21:40
The dessert is finally served for those remaining. More freedom to socialize! During this time, some of the museum helpers/magi will put on a show with some of the items in the museum, perhaps a dragon head will come to life! (A small DMed event-type thing.)Closing Speech 21:30 – 21:35
Arienne will provide a closing speech for the official proceedings and thank everyone one more time as well as announce the proceeds for the event, ie, the amount made for the charity project.Socializing 21:35 – 22:00
Freedom to socialize further for those that remain, however catering will end at 22:00. If anyone has any of their own agenda’s that they would like to put forward, this will be the opportunity for you as well to come into the Quiet Room.
Other Considerations:
There will be donations boxes available for the general public as well should they be interested in donating!
