Is your character a sellsword? A seafaring privateer? Simply an opportunist? Then The Mercer Faction is looking for you!
The Mercer Faction is more centred around the merchant and criminal RP in a grimdark environment! We offer a wide array of RP stretching from civilian roles to criminal enforcers to outcast knights. This flexibility allows us to stretch the boundaries in regards of what our events revolve around!
Even thought we gladly welcome people who desire to play a civilian role, we are especially looking for characters that can involve themselves in combat - as the concepts mentioned above.
If this is something that you find of interest, please do contact a Mercer representative through the Discord link at the first page, contact me in-game or leave a reply here and I'll answer as soon as I am able!

Fun bunch of people to hang around with. Highly recommend to join if you're interested in exploring various different role play concepts from sell swords and knights to labourers and lords.
Great meeting today, guys!
Hello there.
Just was curious on your current situation on the Kings Tide part. As a person im interested in the Tidesage lore/rp since it appealed to me and can hold interesting options for the future.
Currently lvling this char a bit. But I wanted to ask who and what are said tide sages active, and if being a full sage or somewhere between a apprentice and a full one is an option.

I'll send you a PM in game.
The guild is now officially live, and we have begun our IC journey towards civil war in Stormsong Valley. Check the narrative overview for frequent updates!
Fairly confident in saying that it's one of the best guilds i've been in. Great bunch of people and the guild concept is fantastic and well thought through. Looking forward to the times ahead.
Narrative overview updated!
Updated!
Whoever thought that one was safe in the back lines of a battlefield was wrong. It was probably easier to hit there someone than in the midfield - Claire didn't know that well. She was only 17 years old and had never had to fight a battle. She never had to watch blood touch the ground and guts pave the streets. She had never had to raise a weapon against anyone and she had never had to defend herself against anything. She didn't understand military strategies and tactics - she was easy prey. Who could have guessed that arrows could be so painful?
"CHAY! Egelwin! Anyone! Where are you? Come on! Not like this!"
With a rush in her ears she heard Gryff's voice and the dull clink of an armor. The figure blurs in front of her watery eyes before deep black clouds her vision and her filigrane body loses strength. Consciousness - a state of gravity in which the world around you stands still for a moment. As if the young squire didn't already have enough burdens to carry with him. She wished she had told him not to worry.
"Forgive me...brave squire."
Tired and exhausted, her eyes open for a moment. Cold surrounded her while her body was in a lifeless floating state. Rays of light break through the surface of the water from above, while beneath her lurk the dark and abysmal depths. Smaller passing fishes sometimes tease her skin gently out of pure curiosity.
"Take it. I fear... it is wasted on me."
"No, you can't say something like that. ...Hey! Stay with me!"
An unpleasant stabbing in the chest, and a cold unpleasant shiver running down her back.
"...how about you take your fake pity, and GET OFF MY CASE?!"
A verbal slap in the face and...maybe she really deserved it?
"Let this man be an example of what awaits the traitors of Stormsong Valley, the filth that defiles the land which we fight so hard to protect... Now. Sir Lhorke."
The singing of a blade, and the dull impact of a head falling to the ground like a potato. She slightly bends her body, her arms wrapped around her own body to protect her. Can revenge really help to victory and order? Was that even longer the Stormsong Valley she knew? Brother and Sister against each other to the bloody end? She lost her sight in the black depths. She felt overwhelming heaviness as memories rushing her by. It stings and bites and take the mere breath.
"O, Mother. Your injured daughters lie prostrated before a font of Your power. Let Your blessing surge through my instrument and avail them of their wounds."
Penkelly? Her tired eyes lifted towards the surface of the water instead of getting lost in the crushing blackness for even longer. Torturing thoughts let go of her while she felt the kind warmth of the Tidemother. With gentle movements she began to swim towards the surface.
"As I hold Your sacred scroll of Blessing, and this Sacred Blade, a manifestation of Your will, I swear to forget my former life. All I was has been washed by the purity of Your tides. All I am is a servant to all who hold You dear. I swear to protect Your people to my last breath, in times of woe and joy. Let this blade find its way to my throat should I forsake this oath. By the Tidemother I swear."
She remembers the oath she once swore - nothing else matters. Probably 10 more arrows are piercing her body. Probably she sees a thousand other terrible things. Probably she will be yelled at several more times out of anger and frustration, because humans are human beings - thousands of these burdens she would carry. At the end of the day only one goal really counts: to protect her people and the true faith - to free the valley from the blemish of darkness.

I literally just did a quest and the voiced NPC text was "Most people here in Kul Tiras turn to the sea for guidance, like others do the light" So I'd say if anything this "Tide sagism" or whatever it is is the prevailent religion. I've honestly not seen much in the way of light related stuff beyond the odd NPC when you click on them it's all about the sea from what I can see.
I have done just a few quests in Kul Tiras, but there was this old man in Drustvar who asked to rescue his sons which, as the adventurer approached him, said âThank the Light!â, which indicates that quite some people still revere the Light, atleast on a formal level. Itâs an interesting topic... although perhaps not suited for a guild thread...
I havenât quested through the whole regions so it is entirely possible that there might be other people devoted to the Light. Perhaps older individuals? Either way, good luck with the concept!!!

Cheers! I believe the final conclusion is that, like most human societies, Kul Tiras houses a plethora of religions. In this case, the most prominently worshiped deity is explicitly the Tidemother, with the Holy Light and Thornspeaker druidism being lesser faiths. It has brought an interesting religious dichotomy to the fore, especially between the Tidemother and the Light, which we haven't really been able to explore as human RP'ers until now, and it has already played a significant role in influencing the roleplay we have had in the guild up until this point.
velves aren't welcome here!!
go back home or we'll take your ears!!

Blurred wandered ClaireÂŽs gaze along the tent ceiling. It took her a few minutes to remember what was happening. She closed her ocean blue eyes as her gaze wandered restlessly and her heart began to race.
The day just before the meeting with the butchers began for her with an enormous horror. She had almost overslept and there was just enough time left for her to put back her garment on and prepare bags of medical supplies with Brother Cedric. But where was Brother Samwell? She promised Lord Dryden to take care of both of them and introduce them to Brother Penkelly at times. Neither Cedric nor anyone else has seen Samwell - swallowed from the ground. There wasn't even time to look for him. What if the enemy was lurking somewhere and had just taken him with them? It felt like she had broken a promise.
Eyes silently filled with tears as she remembered the meeting before deep distress led to a furious battle. For the first time she felt the thirst for bloody revenge. Grief and burning anger mixed to an emotion that she kept far away from herself, because nothing good came out of this passion. Revenge did not bring this man back - a victory that was not a real victory. Nothing remained except a deep wound in the hearts of those who gave Lord Dryden a place in their hearts. Gone was the man who gave her protection under the roof of his family. The man who made the strong bond around the Stormwake Allegiance and gave her the feeling that it wouldn't rip while he still breathed. For now, Claire was left with nothing but the fear of an uncertain future and a grief that painfully bursts out of her.
Reminder to everyone in the wake of this fancy forum overhaul that the Stormwake Allegiance is still active and going strong, even if this thread has seen some neglect. We have concluded our Stormsong rebellion arc and are currently based in Stormwind City, up-to-date with the current global affairs of the ongoing war. We will be leaving on our next campaign in a couple of days, so be sure to make contact beforehand if you wish to interact with us in an open environment!
So how can I join this brilliant guild? Who do I need to get in contact with?
If you read the original post, youâll see that thereâs a discord link at the bottom of it.
Gods youâre embarrassing.
