All signed up! Clan Stormheart is certainly out in force, I might have to get Joren involved himself just to save face for the poor Bronzebeards!

Hello there!

Unfortunately my dwarf isn’t showing up on the forum so I couldn’t post on her, but I’d like to tentatively say I’d like to come. This would be a great way for me to try out Alliance RP and get stuck in on my character. She’s a Wildhammer Dwarfette! (Female dwarves? Impossible! I kid.)

Look forward to this and thank you so much for hosting it for us!

We’ve RP’d on Team Red enough times that I’ll look for you and try to get you stuck in on Alliance side Erithur

With a week to go until the opening of the festival, I’m posting a provisional schedule to let people know what’s happening when! Also, the ram race has been postponed to a later event as I’d rather focus on a smaller number of events and no interest has been expressed thus far.

The Festival of Beltane, 30th April - 1st May 2020

30th April
Guests are welcome to arrive throughout the day!

  • 18:00 - the Stoutlager Inn officially opens for Beltane attendees with food and drink aplenty
  • 19:00 - the Summer Ritual takes place on a hill outside Thelsamar
  • 20:00 - two cousins of Clan Anhuin play a set of traditional folk music inside the Stoutlager Inn
  • 20:45 - the Feast of Beltane begins, and lasts through the night
  • 21:30 - the Strongest of Stomach drinking game takes place outside the Stoutlager Inn

1st May

  • 00:00 - in the midst of the feast, the arrival of Beltane is toasted
  • 18:00 - the Stoutlager Inn opens again for the second day of festivities with a buffet of traditional dwarven fare
  • 19:00 - the Pig Chase takes place in a pen near Thelsamar
  • 20:00 - the cousins repeat their set of traditional tunes for those late to the festival
  • 20:45 - the second half of the Feast of Beltane is held in the Stoutlager Inn
  • 22:00 - guests bid farewell to the festival with a second toast

Some of the Fellowship will be around for the social bantering and cheering on the participants in the games!

Is a Kul Tiran rocking up with beer on offer given this is where they learned to brew in poor taste?

May I ask what happened to the festival? We came around by 20:30 but the organizer’s nowhere to be found.

Things indeed didn’t seem to go through as they were supposed to. I was happy to see that folks at least had a couple of hours of Social interactions, Stormheart will be about tomorrow evening still anyway.

Would love to hear where you were AnhĂ»in, no hard feelings but that was about 30 people’s evenings

 Was planning on coming but things got in between, am a little confused now as to what happened but is it still on for tomorrow?

Update for y’all that I’m posting on behalf of the organiser:

With some real unfortunate timing, AnhĂ»in’s PC broke down today. It won’t even turn on anymore. There’s no spare computer and he won’t be able to get it fixed very soon, because of the coronavirus, so it looks like Beltane festival will be postponed indefinitely.

Sorry everyone!
