A Single Quest Chain for New Players from 1-50 so they can experience the Entire WoW Map & Understand the Lore

That’s called “Main Story Line Quests” in FF14. And I am all for that in WoW. Sure, it sucks to play perhaps old content from classic, but Blizzard could limit it to a 1-time forced play and on every other char it is optional.

Totally agreed , wow needs an experience for the storyline to make it more friendly and for people who like lore .
They should make a dedicated chain quest with movie cuts ,scenarios .

Let me get this straight, you want a single quest chain to explain all of WoW’s history in in just 50 levels ? If so I don’t know if this could be done in a way that players get any less confused. I mean they would be skipping a lot of story in order to fit in just a short time frame.

Something like this would work better imo. It could even have a very slow leveling speed if people would prefer that.

This is exactly what I’m saying. Just 1-2 main quests per zone re-designed just to get the experience, that way, you can literally have players travel all over map, know what a zeppelin is and explore the entire map.

And it won’t be compulsory, new players will start wow, and get that quest chain NPC infront of them, there will also be an NPC who will let the player decide if they wanna skip the lore and go back to the current leveling system. It will be completely optional.

You mean MSQ " Main Story Quest "
I have a suggestion,
So, like FFxiv. We can get a MSQ on top of our screen bywhich the player can continue the story and find which npc to talk to.
Yes! It’s already made eat for the new players to navigate the quest markers form npc but this will start from vanilla quest onwards till the end of bfa.

it’s a good idea… but it would require an effort i guess blizz never make for old content.
Just in case they revamp old world in the new exp (hard but not impossible) they could think about somethin like this. i would love it.

Stop thinking your view fits all.
It is good as it is.
And by your post you should play 3, Warcraft games before.
I bet not many who joined later in WoW went and did story all by order.
If they like world they are thrown in they will play if they want more they will seek it.

And your idea is just too long can’t stuck story from 17 years in some short manner.

Best thing they did was separating.

From my lvl 36 experience it is on classic level of questing, you outlevel everything, you are sync down while doing stuff and doing just msq lol.
And I dare to say it classic random npc talking together is more voice acting then in my time in FFXIV where like 1/3 of cutscenes had voice.

Yeah, exactly this.

Clearly you didn’t understand my point. I mentioned the word “Optional” and “For players who want to get the experience of the lore.” If you don’t agree with this, don’t get involved in this thread, because, again “OPTIONAL”, read that word 5 times.

Exactly my point.

How is that different to what already exists then?
Did you even played all expacs and their story is happening in it .

I like Chromie time but leveling before it felt like a proper journey in my opinion. I liked doing the expansions in order if I’m honest. I always looked forward to specific parts like entering the Dark Portal or doing Jade Forest in MoP. I know I can still do this but it’s not a linear experience that you have to go through.

Maybe I’m describing it wrong but I kinda liked the system before Chromie Time too.

Lmao. You still haven’t understood what I wrote? Read it a couple of times more to understand.

Exactly. New players don’t even get to explore the massive world that’s outside BFA unless they go to chromie. And who’s going to explain someone who’s FRESH to wow about timelines and chromie and other stuff.

My idea above was to solve this confusion and make them more familiar with the lore to truly understand what they are playing.

Because I’ve seen players join, buy the expansion, play for 1-2 months and leave after getting bored. If they know the lore, they are bound to continue.
