I have noticed that there have been mixed opinions related to TBC lvl 58 boost.

Sunwell was designed around that and they won’t change it. The change they want to have is no Drum meta from the start by delaying access to the late TBC good drums and keeping early TBC weak drums in check. So if you want to clear Sunwell really quickly you will need Drums, if not then not really.

there are not rly “mixed opinions”. the majority of the community is hard against the boost, I’d say 85% …just check the US forum =))
for a very long time, a lot of people fought so hard for a classic reroll to go oldschool again, away from all these P2W cashshops. the idea was / is to create an authentic nostalgic game feeling in classic & TBCC. please either go play retail or just level like everyone else.
