Corrupt GMs, rampant clientelism is something you want to get rid off asap.
Common sense says you can just ignore those ERP folks and keep doing whatever you were doing. Sure it’s annoying if you walk somewhere IC and end up witnessing an act you’d rather have people keep to themselves, or if people approach your char only with ERP in mind. But beyond that it’s just easier to not be bothered and focus on looking for RP you’re more into. Most of them are quite easy to spot and avoid as there’s little substance in their TRP profile aside from their sexy shapes and sexual orientation. And then for more “proper” roleplayers if some people want to add sexual side to their romantic RP, it’s their choice. shrugs
As for Blizz’s rules regarding to ERP, sure if they have rules against it, they should back them up with action instead of having that rule just to look good legally. But it’s not our fault if they’d rather keep the money flowing regardless of their own rules.

Common sense whispered me that you made a logical fallacy.
Give the game’s rating, this is not a good stance to have tbh, and since some of these people want to forbid the target audance to play the game, go to their “den” and overall cal them toxic on these very forums, I rather not have this sort of people in the game because it’s not healthy at all.
Definitely no sexual harrassment directed at people playing female characters, or being involved in RP that turns out to be a thinly-veiled come on after a few minutes

Don’t forget the blatant soliciting when you’re just standing in the auction house.
Most people seem to be quite familiar with such content due to the nature of internet. Nobody wants to end up dealing with a sexual predator whether they’re minor or adult or a relative/friend of a targeted person. And I bet nobody wants to be harassed like that either. In some cases the community has acted when they have spotted cases which Blizz hasn’t been aware of. But it can also be difficult to spot from Blizz’s end (unless they made very strict line about ERP which we havent seen them to practise) as people also drag their RP to other platforms such as Discord.
Why not point it out then? 
In an ideal world we would have a game with all-pure, honest and good people. Even I’d like things more towards that but things are what they are.

An all pure is impossible, but at least one server without certain types of people is totally doable, if the rules are enforced like they should be.

It is absolutely their choice, but choices are not untouchable divine acts that prevent people analysing those choices and finding them questionable, or unwelcome.
