The subscription in the shop should show how much you’d save yearly.

Well this is exactly it. 9.99 is more flexible. and less of a hit if you forget to unsub the six month sub when times are tight for example coming up to school holidays and xmas and the like.

You mean beer? 12 euro would give me around 5 beers where I live.
Though no subscription costs 9,99€. This is what we criticize. The monthly cost of 6 Months and 12 Months are both 10,99€/Month.
At least my critic is that the annual subscription should besides mounts go down to 9,99€ per Month.

What always bothered me with those sales is that a 6month sub gets a free mount but being subbed continuesly for years on end gives absolutely nothing. It’s mostly a matter of being able to drop that amount of money at once.

But still. 5 beers is still cheap. Its what you drink 1 or 2 days out with friends. Assuming you get nothing else like chips or something.
There are few things today that with 12E can give you 2/3 h of entertainment every day for a month.
Its a good investment if you ask me.
I can get 1,5 for that price where i live…
£9.99 is about 12 euro, so it’s the same price, people asking for 9.99€ are effectively asking to pay less than people in other places.
It’s also about the price of about 3 coffees, hardly extreme for a month of gaming.
Remember WoW classic provides endless further gameplay for free, under the same fee, if that’s something that interests you.
If the discount offered by the 12 month sub isn’t good value to you, then don’t pay it. Nothing to stop you from just playing when you want to, and only subbing for those months 
Eh those that where continuous subscribed from the first month to the 10th birthday got a limited statue.
That was only those that subscribed from Vanilla. The rest gets nothing.
