My hunter uses focus- misdirect macro, and shift, pet misdirect macro, and most certainly it makes me more “pro” as hunter. Or whatever “pro” means in this thread.
And your mentioned heal from pet, or even dispel from pet. But that last is easier probably on mouse button.
You could always install GSE if you’re feeling super lazy.
