This kind of childish and entitled behaviour is rampant in the people asking or outright demanding to bring back these pixels.
It is not just about the challenge, they are also souvenirs of an era. What you are doing right now is the same as getting angry the clock master doesn’t make a certain type of antique clocks anymore and flailing about on the ground like an angry Magikarp just because some other people have that clock.
These items make up a very small part of the game, there are plenty of other clocks out there, get over it.

Nope. They were advertised as time-limited rewards and they should stay unavailable. Also, it is very fun for me to mog my challenge mode appearances I earned back then - knowing that they are still prestigious.

Trading Post? Hard pass, that’s taking a proverbial crap on the people who spent time and effort on earning those rewards.
Reintroducing the challenges and rewards though? Fine by me, don’t see why not.

i do understand where you coming from sir , yes its advertisement but not for players but to keep people subbing during that time , as i mention before it add no value to the game and people just buy carry with gold and buy 3rd website carry too as its common back then
if challenge what you speak of then bring back challenge mode and let people earn their it then i don’t mind

A lot of gear and prep went into challenge mode completions… It was not a walk in the park like most of WoW is today. People may have boosted back then but guess what? they still boost today, that does not make it okay for the challenge mode mog sets to be completely devalued to appease people who either didn’t play then or were not good enough to complete the challenges.
Your reasoning and justification of why they should be made obtainable is absolutely dilutional.
WoW has always had time limited content, it is the way that the game is designed and has been for as long as i can remember and is still this way today, you still have time limited rewards for mythic plus and pvp not to mention yearly events that rewards time limited rewards e.g. the christmas FoS and toys.
Just because you do not have something does not mean you can demand for it to be returned the way you are here!
Sorry to disappoint you but the trading post is not going to be a place where all the lazy, bone idle, entitled babies will get rewards that have been previously removed from the game… Its just not going to happen.
Play when its current content, work hard for things or shut up about it.
Also stop making posts when they are clearly deleting them, this exact post was created last week and was removed, i will report this.

FOMO only exists in your mind! Using Time Limited Rewards and Content is healthy for the game, it makes the interesting and helps to give it a long life by changing things up from time to time.
It doesn’t harm new or returning players like you suggest, because they game is still accessible to play, there are still things to collect. However, for some of those who participated in particularly challenges or event during particular time periods of the games history have a little souvenir to go along with their memory.
Nobody is being punished.
NOW PLEASE STOP SPAMMING THE FORUMS WITH THIS POST.

FOMO in the sense that players are calling this FOMO.
Season/Expansion locked rewards are not marketing. They are rewards for participating and achieving goals during a Season/Expansion. Yes, that is to encourage engagement in the game, but it is more for the sense of the reward, than it is to create a pressure for you to play.
In the case above, if you have the Fear of Missing Out on getting those rewards, then that is on you because 1) if you’re not playing the game, why not? 2) you have more than enough time to collect those items.
Timed Events, such as Anniversary Rewards such as the Deathwing Mount (which I don’t have as I couldn’t participate in the event because I had to go away for work about a week before the event). Yes they are used to encourage participation and subscriptions to join in within the Celebration (which happened once in 18 years). Likewise, Pre-Patch Events are used to build hype for a new expansion.
Yes, that is half marketing and half reward for participating in an event. but once again the same question: If you’re fearing missing out on that reward, why are you not playing? Pre-Patches are usually one of the most enjoyable events in the game. Get involved!
However, what I will say is absolutely FOMO is when they put the Tyrael’s Charger mount on the In-Game shop and then tell you that you only have 2 weeks to buy it. THAT is FOMO. The examples above are not, they are brought into the game to make it more interesting, to encourage engagement. But you’re feeling like you need to be there or you’ll miss out, then that is on you my friend. Don’t ask them to make the game worse and less enjoyable for everyone else.

anyone defending FOMO just don’t care about playerbase and again add 0 value to the community , if you don’t care about community thats fine just don’t act in hypocritical to try to justify FOMO
FOMO is famous business practice to force people keep playing / paying gold for challenge / paying real money to 3rd website

yeah tell them , alot of people shelling for blizzard and believe blizzard never do wrong in their choices , im here make simple suggestion and then they start losing their mind and defend FOMO that f2p games using it , these people seriously need to grow up if they don’t like the post then they can move on instead of crying like children and acting toxic
