Am i the only one not liking the concept of " Malefic Rapture " in Shadowlands? It sounds like affliction warlocks in Shadowlands will have to get their dots on the target and then spam this ability in order to do a large portion of their damage.
This sounds like a very boring and spammy playstyle which doesnt feel right with affliction. Back in MOP/WOD, all affliction warlocks had to do was maintain their dots on the target to do all of their damage with perhaps tiny bits of filler with drain soul and this was a lot of fun and felt very satisfying.
I really hope affliction warlocks playstyle doesnt stay the way they currently are on the Alpha because i was really looking forward to returning to playing it when Shadowlands comes because BFA really ruined it for me by making it completely unviable in pvp. It should be a spec that has to spam casts, it should only need to maintain dots
