Doing affordable auctioneer mount would nullify the whole idea of having that expensive thing in the game in first place. You could just start selling instead huge sign transmog that says: “I paid 5 million of this sign” because bragging would be only reason to buy the more expensive one. And i think people are buying it because of it’s use, not to brag.

However, there could be something in game that would be less handy but offer little bit same function. Perhaps toy similar to one you get from poastmaster questline for checking mail, that let’s you summon auctioneer but has time restriction on it (maybe only works every 2 hours for 5 minutes or something).

i’d love an alliance -themed version. brutosaur is afterall, a zandalari patrol mount.

5,000,000 gold isnt that much! In the current Game Token cost rate, its just 22 tokens! Its ~450 Euro in real money. Blizz would be happy to take it from you.

Legion was so much better for farming class order hall… i was raking in averagely 150k per day with 15 alts in 15 minutes per day… for 1 year. Good times.

I think you don’t get the purpose of the forums. You can, and should, post about the things you’d like to see. Everybody else can, and should, comment on whether they think it’s a) a good idea, b) a bad idea, or c) just not very necessary.

My comment combined elements of b) and c).

The purpose of the bronto is to be a gold sink. Gold sinks are important to have for the health of the game’s economy. Making the dino cheaper, or providing a cut-price alternative, undermines that function for that gold sink.

That might be ok if providing a cut-price alternative had a justification, but I don’t see one. You didn’t give one.

In one of your replies, you say:

Well I don’t mind ugly looking-cheap mount just for auctions. It might give me inspiration to cross 500k with 25+ char :upside_down_face:

You do not want to see my played across all characters, excluding the ones I’ve deleted.

But the activities I do in game aren’t gold grinding ones. :slight_smile:

Definitely looking for a participation ribbon. “Oh I have to be included everywhere, because I am the star of my own social media content.” I can some how see this guy / girl (you never know) taking a lot of selfies. Someone has to be his /her paparatsi.

You play the game to HAVE FUN. Some people on the forums forget that you play this or any game really to have fun and not as a job. If it stops being fun then you should stop playing it.

the whole point of this overpriced mounts was to bleed out some of the excess gold out of the player economy something a cheaper mount would not accomplish

This sums up my attitude pretty much, I don’t try to make gold because it would seem to be like a chore, a job too much and I play the game to have fun. That’s not to say that I don’t grind various things in game but gold I really don’t need. I can happily live without certain mounts until they become affordable to me and my non gold making ways :slight_smile:

Why bleed out gold from the player economy? If those players like to horde gold just let them, they are HAVING FUN. So the guy /girl hits his gold cap, OOOOOO the worlds not going to end. He / She can play WoW for “free” with tokens for ever.

Besides bleeding 5M gold from someone who has over a billion is not bleeding at all.

If Blizzard wanted to limit gold hording within the game then just lower the gold cap.

well i never said it was a good move a good move would be frankly and i’m going to get a lot of flake … here REMOVE EVERYONE’S GOLD

and put in a maximum selling price on items to prevent a reoccurring problem maybe 200 % of the vendor value

and obviously no more mission table gold

Why pay money anyway just for QoL access to the AH when a lvl 1 bank alt costs nothing. I have one for Alliance and one for Horde, obviously, and neither of them has ever moved from the AH since I created them. I’ll never use them for levelling them up so they’ve been there for a LONG time. :smiley:
