i got reply to my ticket, the expected, robotic kind so i chose ““i still have problem”” and opened a web ticket…lets see…where did all GMs go? the ones who were helping us with ingame issues in the past?
btw yesterday i was talking ingame about the issue whenever i had the chance to inform/alert ppl so that maybe we become many here
in world channel, general channel, alliance side ( although im Horde :p) , in almost every battleground i entered etc like a campaign for our rights

I noticed this yesterday too when I went to check how many times my shaman had died. Said I’d died once, but once to fall damage and once in a dungeon? Plus I’d died at least 4 times already that day since I suck at being a shaman! What’s the point of having a statistics tab if it’s going to be wiped and going to randomly stop updating? Aaargh!

That’s yet another feature, folks. They’re preparing for WoW dying so they’ll slowly erase any sign of the time you’ve invested so that it’s not such a shocker when all goes down.
This has been happening for years, they get wonky with each new expansion. I remember my Illidan kill counter being over 120 during Cataclysm and I think it’s below that now, I farmed those glaives a lot.
Also a lot of boss kills got merged over the years with the 10/25man thing and 20man mythic and yeah. I remember when SOO came out and it said I had killed only Garrosh after the WOD pre-patch, despite doing full clears for several weeks before. But yeah between ingame-stats and armory they aren’t reliable, shame really.
Never heard of it fully clearing stats before though, such a failure. Just as annoying as my D3 season history just disappearing.

I noticed that some of the uncompleted achievements also went back down to 0 because of it. I opened a topic of my own and it was ignored by customer support, later I opened a ticked as well and was redirected to wowhead. I’m still waiting to see if an actual person will actually read it. They claim how no response is possible due to the volume of tickets (not related to this problem directly) and they’re trying to filter out as many people in getting actual help, hoping that those least determined will abandon their request.
Stuff simply can’t disappear like this. Anyone remember that one time when all Archaeology discoveries got deleted for some players during WOD?
If I end up with a reply asking me to report this issue in-game as a bug, you can already guess how likely I am to continue my subscription. I’ve been doing so much quality assurance work for them for free, but neither that or my general feedback ever seems to end up in the right hands.
The least that could be done is try to offer some reassurances and say how the information has been forwarded to the appropriate people who can try to address it.
Its because its a small indie company, the same reason applies why the chat sometimes just stops working for communities and guilds.

its almost official by now: last years there is no such thing as Blizzard Technical Support im sure there is many tickets but that shouldnt affect em since they treat every ticket with…"“delete wtf, cache, interface”" and/or ““check Wowhead””…ridicilous at the very least…wowhead can help players but not with issues caused by Blizzard itself, like the ones we dealing with in this topic here
i dont know how but we need to put an end in the lack of tech support of Blizzard
since til some years ago it was a decent one, im pretty sure they can do that again…and ye i agree they made everything so ““complicated”” to contact em and they delay their responses so that ppl give up on their tickets… any ideas how we can put ““pressure”” to Blizzard for a better tech support and a valuable, decent treatment of its customers? maybe ppl who follow some wow streamers they should inform em about this? i really dont know:( start getting really annoyed here…
