Thats phase 1, alliance hardly has warriors and rogues anymore. Its just Balance druids, priests, hunters and paladins, in that order
I also assume itās gonna be bad but canāt be sure until phase 3 is live.
There was a guy saying gladiator stance sims higher than fury or something, and that itās gonna be broken in pvp. I doubt that.
The āalliance has more healersā is just made up. Played both factions enough to know that both sides have the exact same kind of players⦠Especially since alot of alliance change to horde and vise versa. Not like i change my gaming stratergy/mentality just becuase i swap faction.
Everything you mention that a warrior can do, i think a melee hunter or an ench shammy or even a rogue can do just the same. Neither of these are really mana dependant. Itās just the worst version of any melee you can bring currently, doesnāt mean they canāt contribute a bit⦠but theyāre still the worst.
Against other melees it would probably work a bit atleast⦠but will it even win 1v1s or will it bring the enemy to 20% hp before you die? Im expecting it to still be the weakest melee in pvp and against any caster/hunter its just pointless.
Main issue is usually rage gain anyway, even if the damage gets there.
Thereās a lot of people that have always stuck to one faction, for the most part at least. Over my 20 years of playing this game, on average alliance has always had more healers. My own personal experience and non-bias. In SoD thereās a few more than usual, but in BGs I still see alliance having more than horde. Take this subjective viewpoint however you like
You have reading comprehension issues, reread my reply, i implied they were almost a free kill thus free coins for me, and not finish off but rather a 100 to 0 kill.
Since i have to explain this one for you like the toddler you are, here it is, iāll bite:
For that guaranteed ājuicyā ultra super dangerous lava burst crit to happen they need flame shock on their target. And when they waltz in to put that shock on the target up to 20 yd they expose themselves like all sort of ābad thingsā, and not only against warrs but any melee. And once they have a melee riding them, gl getting a cast off, including a 2s lava burst.
If you didnāt get that much, yeah youāre clueless.
Oh and btw stv is relevant because horde also fights horde and yet you see on the forums still overwhelmingly alliance crying. That was my point.
So yeah do pls get a clue.
Yeah that sounds about right. I hope there will be a way to ācheatā pvp reputation and honor like we got via the STV event, cba to do actual pvp as a warrior in the current state
Unless gladiator by some miracle turns out to be good / fun. Then Iād consider going to battle once more, For the Alliance
I mean i donāt see alot of warriors or rogues on horde side either. Only difference on melee dps is that shaman is better than paladin in any pvp event or bg. Itās either shaman or ranged dps at this point, retadins can work but they are easily countered by purges and kiting so not that far from what a warrior can do/just more damage i guess.
No thanks, take a ignore instead.
I just gave up on alliance pvp untill/if they ever balance it. Iāll be playing holy paladin pve and orc shaman+warlock for pvp. Might keep a warrior up to max lvl just incase they ever get fun.
Who cares if your warrior killed a bad shaman once. Show us a video where you win a duel and ill be impressed. Otherwise maybe you had 15 cds, 200 rage a rage potion while ur enemy dropped his coffee on the keyboard and was busy cleaning it up?
Simple facts in sod, horde has a pvp advantage.
Warriors are currently garbage in pvp.
Thatās the correct approach, tbh.
I canāt bring myself to level an alt and re-grind everything, reputation, runes, gear⦠so Iām stuck with my warrior but hey I do have a guild so I can still raid and if pvp is bad then oh well I will simply ignore it.
The main issue with warrior isnāt even how it plays atm or how its designed in SoD. It has more to do with other overtuned dmg runes, which warriors got none of. Lvl 40 is also a really awkward level for them because of itemization. Phase 3 is right around the corner. This QQing is pointless at the moment
But but but we get recklessness, thatās so broken right?
Who cares that it is a 30 minute cooldown, someone will make a post crying about it, I can already see it.
Same energy as horde and especially shamans crying about paladin bubble
I donāt play alot of warrior in sod becuase i know they are useless. The QQing is just as pointless as discussing anything else on these forums.
Everyone knows classic era warriors scale up with gear, what people forget is that with the new runes added it doesnāt even mean that warriors are gonna be one of the top 3 at 60 either, or in bis gear. So chances are they are just gonna be left behind the entire sod experiece which is sad. I prefer a game where i see multiple classes and not just shaman, spriest, boom. But maybe youāre into this trio gameplay?
All the trolls on this forum defending anything in horde/shaman favor is just pointless and everyone who does some research can see the truth, even if you play horde urself.
Iām just expecting sod to go down like Diablo IV, probably not as fast but player spikes are gonna be huge every phase, new phase brings players back⦠for 2 weeks? Then we get ghost towns because all alliance who rerolled horde eventually just get bored of jumping around when they canāt enjoy their main faction/class etc.
Oh it is simple indeed but far from being a fact, thatās only a biased opinion in your head and itās cute how you conveniently ignore the fact that in stv horde also fights horde and yet itās still the alliance who cries about horde racials. Have that along with your copium as well.
Stv is a laggy pvp event, they should atleast fix the lag before worrying about any other balance in the event. So horde fights horde⦠every few hours in a event. Thatās far from the full pvp game. Basically horde is always overpowered, but sometimes they have to fight their own overpowered shamans and orc racials, boo hoo? Alliance have to deal with that 24/7.
You see, there is a massive logical fallacy here.
If racials donāt make such a big impact on the gameplay, why do the horde players fight with their teeth and claw to not make them available to alliance?
If racials do make such a big impact, then you already admit that the game is fundamentally unfair and biased towards one faction.
If racials are not that big of a deal, alliance players SHOULD have the option to change their racials as they prefer and hordes shouldnāt have a problem with that.
And, if you care about the look of your character more, than great, being able to choose the race you think is cool AND have the racials that you find better should be a double win situation.
So, if they make racials either universally available, OR, remove them entirely, more players will be happily choosing their characters for how they look. So your argument of āpick the race which looks coolā will be a bigger thing if racials were not biased or imbalanced in the first place.
There is simply no honest excuse for racials to be imbalanced in a multiplayer game, sorry. The only honest answer to keep them as it is is āI have OP racials to let me keep my priviledge because they let me win when I donāt deserve to.ā
4 warriors and a feral/enhance rocks hard in the stv event tho, if they are coordinated
