Really wouldn’t, because the only thing that matters there is AoE. Not stuns
Pretty bad “pvp” example then.
Fear is and as always been terrible (imo). As for Alliance warlock and playing one, face purge is a much bigger threat than WoTF or fear ward.
Fear is also uncastable in the only currently playable form for pvp: Meta. You can play SL/ Haunt horde side, but not on the Ally side (again: purge). This factor makes it even more irrelevant. If it was even needed.
Its mass pvp, as you claimed alliance is bad at it
cough taurens cough
I’d still be impressed if a single class of one faction is more than a whole race on the other, but still.
What if it was a stun cleanse on 2min cd. Then you can use it for that once in a lifetime situation you actually needed it. I think you’ll only find how much you had out of it without realizing it.
The racial is busted, I wouldn’t call it exactly game breaking, cause there are still classes they wont care about it, but it’s a big advantage when it procs.
Im not saying alliance is bad at it, im saying horde has advantages. If horde loses a 10v10 that means the alliance players are better.
There aren’t that many taurens
And if the horde wins a 10v10 its only because of racials?
No, but if its a game of equal skills. What’s the point of comparing anything else?
Alliance always have to outplay their horde opponents, where weak hordies sometimes win anyway.
Weak hordies wouldn’t be able to ever beat that group that I linked. Even if orc stun resist was 100%. It all boils down to skill issues.
Snooze. Im not saying hardiness autowins against everything, im saying its an advantage. To break it down so you understand.
Alliance X player value : 100
Horde X player Value : 100
Hardiness value : 25
= Alliance new value 100, Horde new value 125.
Horde more value, horde stronger, horde wins.
Its an advantage the same way a gnome warrior/rogue has an advantage as a warrior/rogue vs my mage.
There aren’t that many paladins either. Orcs however… oof.
The racial and shaman imbalance just pushes people to play Horde more. Dont confuse it with better players being on horde, it’s PvP enthusiasts going for the better faction/race. When the wPvP events start and Horde dominate the early stages, they gear up, and start doing BGs vs undergeared alliance, do you really think it’s alliance playing bad?
They “horde are chads” argument is downright laughable. The playerbase isn’t a monolith, you have good players and bad players on either side.
You gotta understand, when developers dont care about balance I sure as hell am not going to be a punching bag, just for your entertainment in BGs. What you’re playing against is rep farming PvE players that couldn’t care if they’re doing good PvP.
Yes you’re getting there. But if you count all the horde racials together and all the alliance racials together and give them certain values out of how useful they are in say WSG/AB.
The horde value would be higher.
And now you add the shamans being stronger than paladins for any instanced pvp into this calculation, the horde one gets even bigger.
And to top it all off you bring more anti fear viablity in phase 3 to the horde side. More horde pvp value.
I think we just have to agree to disagree at this point about our pvp view and how we value different racials.
The bg im in currently has 3 paladins and 0 orcs and 1 troll shaman. The last couple of weeks alliance BG teams have almost always had a minimum of 2 paladins, with some bgs having 5. I have yet to see a disproportionate number of orcs. I usually see more undeads than orcs
Currently it’s rep farming, but since i don’t want to go into “I said vs You said”. I’ll concede, yes there are a ton of paladins who dont face orcs or tauren and are tipping the stun balance in favor of Alliance, so everything is fine, as we can clearly see by the PvP participation.
You win, go 2shot some alliance scrub and tell him to l2p.
What’s sad is some people enjoy their imbalance. I play both factions but playing horde gets boring when they have too many advantages. Noobs prefer the free lunch over a fair battle i guess.
I bet thats what alliance with EMFH for 10 years were using as cope as well
EMFH competes with 10% hardiness in wotlk though right? EMFH and 25% hardiness is probably quite equal in pvp value.
Wrong comparison there mate. Its closer to competing with Will than anything else. Regardless, its the same cope the overbloated advantaged alliance rerollers used years ago when complaining about horde to explain their skill issues.
