Allied Races the community would want to see

Can trolls be considered elves too? Because if yes, I think we could have a problem

I’d like to see armour that fits properly on undead.

So you are saying the horde should get something unique and good, and the Alliance mostly just get some horde elf leftovers?

We don’t need more elves in game. especially not bland reskins

Ethereals make little sense to add tho, how would they wear armor when they are literally incorporal beings held togeter by a bunch of rags

Well have different kind of rags. Just like forsaken got  .

Can I just get a draenei off spring race on the Horde side? tyvm blizzard, then you can have even more of my money.

I think the only dreanei the horde could possibly get are the broken ones from outland, they fit in with their shamanistic ways instead of using the light. Besides the outland dreanei are pretty much Alliance lovers and the dreanor ones are unlikely because they are not really on good terms with the mag’har, and they look just different enough. They just need some female models for that to happen just like ogres. But it could happen since worgen also didnt have female models until cata

I would rather have a completely new race and alot, i mean, alot more costumization for the existing ones.

If you want human looking undead humans or space goats, the Alliance is there waiting for you.

imagine ethereals with slutmogs, they would pretty much be ghosts with a single handkerchief stuck to them

Yea thats my future ethereal rogue right there! :joy:

Giving that Junker gnomes and gilgoblins are next.

I’d love to see:
Farondis Highborne (A) - new Nelf look when they get restored.
Half elf or High elf (A)
Winged Eredar or Broken (A)

San’layn (H)
Mok’nathal (H) - half ogre/orc)
Vampyr (H)- Diablo 3 necromancer model

Well tbh there are alot of races i would like to play…Eredars, Ethereals, Nagas (but i’m pretty sure that this will never happen).

For the original question about the future allied race linked to the Undeads (wich will probably happen), i always loved the look of the Zandalari skeletons we can see in Nazmir and in the south-wester part of Vol’dun, they are gorgeous…but they would be just Undead Zandalari so this would probably never happen. I mean, look at them (it seems i’m not trusted enough to post images and links, i believe you have to go see them by yourself lol).

frankensteins monster, troll/ogre, beholder type levitating eyeball, bird/human mix, small flying beastie of some form, centaur would be awesome.
frankensteins monster and centaur very much so the ones I want, especially.

I need ogres for horde… with two heads… Oh man that would be amazing.

Imagine having the racial that gives you an extra head gear slot, i want ogres as well. If we do get them however its more likely to be one headed ones with the ogres mages or warlocks being npc’s. Giving them the more tribal classes like hunters, warriors, shamans……. and even monks because somehow even the mag’har seem to have monks.

Ogres rogues having the racial that makes their stealth pretty bad but giving them more brute strength would be hilarious as well

I’d like to play these “Sir and or Ma’am” turtles

Sethrak on Ally, Vulpera on Horde.
I woulda liked Vrykul on Ally and Manari on Horde too, but those’ll never happen

blizz likes to balance out what they give to both factions so vrykul for the ally and manari for the horde would never happen at the same time. Vrykul might eventually happen , but if they do it will be a round of more brutish races with most likely ogres for the horde to even it out

You’re definitely not alone, I raced changed 2 of my oldest characters away from their n’elf roots and felt better ever since

I definitely don’t want another troll or orc variant because I don’t want to play them regardless of how erect they are. Forsaken… how would you vary that anyway? (Other than by raising non-humans… undead troll for double hunch?)

No, for me I think it’ll need to come completely out of left field. And it’ll probably end up having fur or feathers or scales and I know, people will be ‘moar beast races? frikking furries’ but… well, YOU suggest something that isn’t already in-game but would be a more conventional humanoid!

Maybe Alliance could pick up some kind of halflings? -10% mob detection range and a chance to create an extra food item when cooking.

A re-imagined kobold might work for Horde, something a bit more like it’s D&D representation, spruced up to look like something a player might actually be willing to pilot. Give them retractable wings and a 2-minute racial cooldown to glide.

Hybrids maybe? Half-elves and half-orcs are a thing in many other fantasy spheres, but WoW doesn’t really have a concept of base-stats anyway so it’s hard to have something that’s meaningfully halfway between two races. They would end up looking different and having a couple of racials from each parent. Probably not exciting.

To a degree, I’d just like to see WoW get some customisation. Basic sliders for height/build would be a start, give us some variance when you’ve got three elves standing in a row. We’re still running on the theory of “the internet can’t handle all this character data!” but yes, yes it can, now, in 2019. Let’s start using it  Be bold, add tattoos and scars.
