I’m enjoying it still.

I know, from TBC to Mists it was get to max level, purchase flying. But Blizzard had the notion that people should “explore” everything before they were allowed to fly. Hence reference to FF14 who’s doing exactly that, explore the zone and get flying.

The difference is that in FF14 you unlock flying by zone. Meaning that you can end up with flying in one zone way before max level simply by doing the main scenario quest and explore the entire zone.

Okay then, that sounds pretty reasonable.

I don’t mind not having mounts in the Maw, but please… let us mount in the Eternal city

WoW what a surprise, luckily have not bought the expansion yet coz kazzak lol. Ugh endless grinds are so boring, but blizz loves them infinitive power gains.

Yupp. Very much this, trying to milk extra sub months so hard its almost disgusting at this point. Why not just focus on making a good game and retain the players instead? Do not really get this toxic design choices. Also again fans have already suggested a solution. Make ground mount only servers lol. If you like it so much than play it, oh wait it would be a ghost town coz the ground mount shills just wanna show their shills for it.

The truth is there is nothing more amazing with this game than to actually get to fly across the zones. Especially when zones are designed in a way to elevate you to new positions with flying. It has always been amazing and rewarding whenever you got max lvl to be able to fly. I miss that feeling. Whenever I unlock flying now it is me playing the game for 1 month after extended hiatus due to burnout of ground mount and daily tasks. Hilariously getting it is always time gated rep farm of daily tasks for 20 days straight. I mean does anyone believe this is genuinely good content? Like actually good content anyone would be interested to play? IT IS A JOB to do the same thing every single day. It is also not a fun job since its not particularly challenging unless you are running greens, which to be fair mostly makes it annoying and the reward for oh boy, I get to finally fly… throw in a lobster dinner and people actually might consider the burden of doing it “fair”.
