Says the lunatic.
'Kay.
Clearly not.
Because you don’t want to be told you’re wrong.
Nobody else has experienced this. You’re the only one experiencing this, and you think Blizzard is actively targeting you? Yeah, that’s being a lunatic.

Because you never had 60 Exalted Reps.
Do you honestly think that someone would risk losing their job just to mess with one player?
And when nothing happens or changes, you will say “It’s because I was recording & they didn’t want to get caught”. When in fact nothing will happen because Nothing has ever been happening.
Yes.
Because nothing like this has happened to any of the MILLIONS of WoW players over the years.
So IF it is happening to you, you must have seriously annoyed a Game Developer in the past, annoyed them enough to warrant losing their job if they get caught.
Which do you think is the most likely scenario;
1: A rogue Dev is purposefully targeting a random player, messing with bag sales & reputations?
or
2: You are mistaken & are remembering things that never happened?
I wouldn’t believe ANYTHING the haters in this thread would say. Someone at Blizzard is clearly out to get you and i wouldn’t accept that and take counter measures if i were you. Whatever that means is up for you to decide.
Thanks for posting - I had completely forgotten about you.
To the ignore list you go where you belong
1 - clearly.
So, I take it the same problem has happened to you also?
Mate, Erevien is a known forum troll - don’t waste your breath.
I experienced such when the whole server crashed and there was a few minutes worth rollback. But then I was not the only one affected but everyone around me as well.
I also experienced such when my connection was lost and I got disconnected from the game. In this case sometimes around 1 minute worth of data was lost. It came with huge lag spikes.
Recording your gameplay is a good idea, then upload it somewhere and then create a bug ticket which points to that link. You can also make a post on the technical forums so a GM can look into that.
Most likely a UI bug.
Had plenty of them.
Items greying out and can’t be used or equipped.
Certain loading screens causes my mouse not to work, i’m forced to reload.
Even had a few items come back like you describe, or well not get sold despite me selling them.
It could be addons if you use those, or your character might be corrupted for whatever reason.
Only Blizzard can solve it if it’s the latter
Oh i know, just wanted to maker a point, wasn’t expecting a reply or anything of use at all.
The OP states it happens every single expansion release though! So I find it hard to believe that this person is the only one to have experienced the problems they are describing.
The only reason I could possibly see it happen where sold or disenchanted items are suddenly back in the bag is like when you do this at the end of your play session, but your internet is a little wonky, but not wonky enough to straight out disconnect you right away.
So example, you finished your play time, got your stuff and get on your mount, open the vendor and your internet starts to … lets call it hickup.
So at this short moment your client gives you the feedback of you selling or disenchanting the items and right away you exit the game after.
There was no time for the client to actively catch up and send the data to the server and so, you log back in, server data is leading, so you have the items back as if nothing happened.
As for the missing rep, that I have no idea for.
I recall I had a lot more achievement points as well, but cataclysm removed a lot of them too.
Yes, packet loss can also be the reason.
Serious question: why would they single you, and only you, out to mess with? Out of thousands of players why are you their target?
There are times when I log in and something bugs out and a mog (usually store related mogs) have disappeared but they always return after I log out and back in, but I’ve never seen or heard of reps resetting unless an account has been rolled back because someone was caught exploiting or otherwise breaking the rules.
Which is the most likely option, or he misremembers what he has gained.
