I think the majority of us are (there are those that believe nothing should be for example).
I believe they will make it account wide but they are saving that ‘gift’ for a later time.

Now my main, who has almost everything, will earn 3x more anime than my alts, who have almost nothing xp
Yeap it is like Capitalism, those that don’t need it get more and more and those that do have to work 3 times as hard and still cannot catch up
I am with you all the way.
This solves nothing for my chars so will just keep saving my anima if/for when its needed for next patch thingys that might be more usable then some cosmetic crap I will never use.
These changes are (again) way too late. And its not even account wide KEKW.
You have got to be kidding me! How in the world is this not account wide???
Mine popped up in game when I logged in last night after hotfix went live but there was no share with twitter option like I usually get.
but it’s a good idea to check the achies too
If you have no ranks in the Mission table then it wont give you an achievement though.
I can see why it’s not. It would significantly reduce the time required to fully upgrade the Covenant set on alts, for starters. Same for covenant upgrades on alts with different covenants, these would be much easier.
Instead people look at the mountain they have to climb (after doing once already on their main) and go…NOPE
No even nearly enough.
are you aware that a lot of us are managing anima efficiently, and avoiding any upgrade to the mission table as its upgrades are pointless, and hence we only unlocked rank 1, with no plan of upgrading it any further?
do you realize that just the cost for upgrading it to rank 2, in order to unlock the achievement, will waste more anima than the achievement will provide in months?
There is nothing to do with anima but upgrade the covenant and get cosmetics which are subpar.
Might as well upgrade it.
i want to unlock the rank 5 of the queen’s conservatory ( atm at rank 3)i need 27.500 anima to reach rank 5.
i have command table at rank 1, nd no plans to upgrade it as the upgrades are useless, so basically I’m prioritizing the conservatory to gain cosmetics.
if i upograde the table at rank 2, it will cost me 5k anima.
does the rank 2 achievement, allow me to gather 32.500 anima, faster than i would earn 27,500 without the rank 2 achievement?
if it will it will be very marginal, so basically this update is self defeating for peple that are neglecting the useless upgrades.
It really depends on how much anima are you making at weekly basis and what sources are exactly increased.
If you’re a person that farms a lot of anima, this upgrade means more to you. I think this makes sense from design standpoint as blizzard is awarding engagement.
For people that obtain anima only passively it’s questionable how valuable this is, but again, these players don’t really care about anima anyway.
For collectors this is still insignificant amount of anima.
Time that needs to be invested into cosmetics for casual player is insane.
WQ’s are not fun and takes ages to complete
M+ and raid anima rewards are a joke.
People cap their souls before upgrading sanctum to full so they can get 500 anima from weekly which isn’t something you planned is it?
Horrible and boring grind.
I do not grind it, i do the path of least resistance (like the most efficient WQs and the rest comes from raids), and i CARE about upgrading the conservatory to rank 5, so please don’t tell me what i care about.
Your math is on point. This is a scam.
If you’re a person that farms a lot of anima, this upgrade means more to you. I think this makes sense from design standpoint as blizzard is awarding engagement.
I think this is probably why I’m one of the few who is like YAY this is great. I have been clearing WQs for AP for a while now to upgrade my sanctum. Now I’m going to get even more out of it.
I’m also incentivized to go and do the upgrades on the three other covenants on alts.
What you’re saying is basically you have issue with this update as it doesn’t award you anything if you don’t farm anima, and you would wish you would get more anima by just doing regular content.
I kinda get this, but also as anima is not a power upgrade but purely cosmetics, there’s no real reason to criticize blizz for this change.
Also, the mission table has anima farm missions, so upgrading the table actually allows you to farm more passive anima, contrary to what you say.
it does not, because i will not spend the entire day logged, to capitalize on those missions ending 30 mins earlier, hence sending more missions over the day.
I’ll log in the evenings and my quests will be completed, no matter if they took 6 hours or 5, while i was logged off.
what I’m saying is: if i have a goal that i’ll achive in x months, this update does not allow me to achive it faster, the investment return is not high enough.
