No thats for TBC lmao.
Yet, you probably have already payed more than 6 months and so you have wasted money, not in theory, you actually has wasted real money. So instead of thinking in what could happen to you in an hypothetical future you should think about what actually happened to you in the past, wich is real. How many money have you actually wasted to avoid an hypothetical future wasting of money that could have happen but actually never happened?
I have been paying 6 months subscription over 3 or 4 years ago, playing all these years, even if I stop playing tomorrow and I waste 3 months (wich 1 would be free) I still have paid less than with 1-month subscription, because even I stop know the money that I will waste in the future is less than the money that I have already saved because 3-4 years with a 6 months subscription have been 6-8 months free, I could stop playing the next day after renewal and still have been paying less that anyone with 1-month subscription .
I like Classic, I also like being able to get a boost, I like that I can get things that would have previously been expensive for cheap if I want them.
in other words; you think you do, but you donāt.
There is no going back now, MTX are here (and was there in TBC) and like me you can choose to buy them or not and continue your sub or not anything else is hot air and utterly pointless.
Yeah i bet that was blizzards goal as well, this attitude of āthereās no going back nowā is exactly what they want their customer base to believe. however, we all know thats not really true. blizzard could theoretically call it all off at the last second if they wanted to.
iāll gladly shell out a few more coins every month if it means i donāt have to face the potential crisis of having pre-paid game time active in a time where iām not playing the game.
So, to avoid a potential waste of money that will periodically decrease until being 0 you are actually making a waste of money that is constantly increasing. You donāt even need to switch directly to 6-months you know, I think there is also a 2 and 3 months subscription.
No I do want it, im extreemly happy. Thanks for your concern though. I donāt think Blizz can call it off now Iām 58 and sat on my lizard mount.
apperently not that slippery storemounts been a thing since wotlk and all the slipperly slope domsayers kept saying you be able to buy gear max lvls char and what not ever sinceā¦
Lets not pretend the store has not ultimately changed the game for the worst.
Sure, you could BS yourself into believing an extreme situation and feel thankful that its not that extreme.
But you can not deny that the ādoomsayersā predictions have come true and had become true, time and time and time again, spanning multiple games over multiple genres.
Its simple, its no better game out there yet, when it comes i will quit yes and i wont look behind my shoulder when i do, hell i even quit blizz for 6 years playing private servers because they broke the game and refused to make legacy servers and i wasnt alone, private servers where overfilled.
When blizz desided to make vanilla i came back as i dont mind paying for a expansion i like, but i dont like pay shops in a sub game wich also takes money for expansions, wich also rarely even manage to finish a expansion now days, draenor was cut short, bfa was cut short and hell shadowlands had no propper patch before how long? 6-9 months???
People arent bound to see negativity only, people are sick and tierd of blizzards greedy bs wich just keeps ruining more and more and more and honnestly as blizzard is now, its not much positive to see.
Also the players playing wow now vs the past it shows that majority of those who played wow did exactly what you asked āwhy do you play wow then?ā well they did quit lol and more will follow, all thats needed now is a decent mmo people like and then you can sit here left all alone with your imp and 6 month sub.
then you are clueless ā¦
Yes but when the nerf the game and piss you off 2 weeks into that 6 month sub you have already payed, they dont care if you quit or play, they already have your money
Money rules the world. How people spend their money has an impact on other people. What if i would spend all my money and effort trying to make someoneās life miserable? What if i would spend all my money and effort trying to make a lot of peoples life miserable?
Suddenly people care how others spend their moneyā¦
Indeed money rules the world. Thatās why micro-transactions are here to stay.
Thatās called harassment and itās illegal, so yes people will care. Weāre talking about people caring about what people spend in a video game. Like if that even registers in your top 100 problems you are doing okay. Itās the definition of a first world problem.
I had that imp since the original version TBC mind you and it was from a TCG card, the other kind of micro-transactions that apparently is being accepted (for which you had to buy whole card-boxes contrary to just buying 1 item from the shop).
But since you mention playing on private servers, i can in short conclude that those who stayed in retail paid for your, and all of us including private server players, opportunity to play classic at all. Yet āthe retailersā are met with such arrogance, contempt and other ways of verbal violence that that in itself causes a polarization between the āprivate server-campā (or āoriginal vanilla playersā if you want) and the āretail-campā which will probably cause those 2 camps to never seeing eye to eye.
Iām constantly struck by the way a certain group of players want to dominate the way they believe others should experience the game basically because they believe that is the way it should be. Kinda uncompromising donāt you think?
You have to at least try and understand that a game of the size wow is, is never going to be a product of the vision of 1 personās opinion but based upon a variety of opinions from different individuals. Yet you are here threatening me to leave the game without realizing that you are taking your frustrations out on me for decisions iām not even responsible for in the first place. And thatās exactly what the āmount-spittersā are doing, they try to hurt Blizzard by hurting ppl who just want to enjoy what is offered to them. The latter you do by arguing that in fact the buyers are the cause of Blizzard being greedy scumbags, imo the world upside down. So in every way, retail-players are apparently of a despicable species that the above mentioned group have placed themselves miles above of.
To me Blizzard isnāt a nice organization anymore, iāve had my own personal wars with them. They were nice during Vanilla, even posted on the EU forums, talked to players, they were really in contact but that changed. I nearly quit after the tbc patch back in Vanilla for a variety of reasons which hit me hard. I actually quit this game later for almost 2 years played Rift and Diablo instead because of one of those wars which they havenāt changed back.
And please donāt talk to me about Shadowlands, that expansion has nothing to do with WoW anymore, i played it but mostly because i have friends there who want to progress forwards.
So you can keep your contempt for yourself and take it to your like-minded friends. I still have my own opinion, i can be persuaded with different views but only with valid arguments discussed on the same level and not like you shouting down on me.
