There wasnt such period in sl for me. It was obvious that such systems will ruin game for me
Also honeymoon period of legion ended right when I got 70. When I saw how much grind do I need to just play the game and how timegated content is. Same with bfa. It was okish at start but boring and became worse and worse every patch. I had the same feelings now like in MOP. If I had honeymoon period in Mop then it last for the full addon and ended when I saw gutting abilities in wod. My honeymoon period wont end till developers add some legion-stile systems or change pvp gearing in the worse side.
Everything is good except professions, which are beyond horrible.
Still enjoyin it. Waitin to reach renown 10 with my main and after ill go with alts.
Everyday i discover somethin interesting and refreshing or enjoyin reoeteable content like the soup or obsidian.
i cant really judge it untill i hnave tried pushing keys in m+. thats the main content im playing wow for. but i think it going to be great 
So far so good. I’m just hoping they will have a similar level of creativity that they had in MoP, where they introduced some amazing pieces of content spread throughout the expansion. I really hate those long arduous dull systems that they have been implementing and relying on for the past few expansions.
Sub runs out on the 25th I see no reason to renew it especially when 2023 is finna be a banger for games
I love it so far minus the dragonriding still advocating for the return of usage of normal flying mounts in the future patches.
