Anyone else not have any faction loyalty?

This is also true. Probably one reason why so many alliance players consider the horde as the ‘evil faction’, where a player of both probably considers them the side that is most beset by worldly problems.

The reason pandaren can go either way is because there are redeeming features to both factions. Ji Firepaw is not a bad dude in any way, but he sees strength and passion in the horde.

Aside from Sylvanas going cray cray in BfA, and Garrosh being infected by a sha, the horde is mostly about trying to survive in a hostile wilderness. That they need resources that are often claimed by the alliance… well, they chose not to share, and people are hungry and homeless, so the horde will fight for its land.

I wouldn’t say I have a loyalty per se, but these days I prefer playing Alliance. The Horde storyline, especially during Garrosh and Sylvanas, too often railroaded you to being the bad guy, which, don’t get me wrong, is fine with some races, like the Forsaken, but my main chars were a Tauren and a Panda so it just felt kinda wrong.

I suppose the problem I had really was that the storyline tended to follow a much narrower fantasy than the Horde faction itself, which is actually quite a broad church.

I still wonder what happened after Aysa rescued Ji from Siege of Orgrimmar - I hate unfinished stories :frowning:

IKR? I want a unification arc, even if it means they both go back to the wandering isle and opt-out of further faction conflict.

This may sound really stupid but I refused to take part in the burning of Teldrassil… I hated the story for Horde :frowning:

All my characters are Horde, except my Alliance Rogue for “pvp” (SPY!!!1!1!), also I like Night Elf’s, only just found out about the poor tree :frowning: and my Alliance unholy DK for farming darkmoon faire.

I did find this info:

Siege of Orgrimmar
Mists of Pandaria This section concerns content related to Mists of Pandaria.

Aysa took part in the Siege of Orgrimmar, hoping to rescue Ji Firepaw from the carnage. Ji had been beaten unconscious by the Kor’kron and was slated for execution, though Aysa helped fight off the orcs and rescued Ji from his predicament. Begging him to live, Aysa promised that the two of them could return to the turtle and be together.

War Crimes
This section concerns content related to the Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

Aysa served as a liaison for the factions and Taran Zhu during the trial of Garrosh Hellscream, such as directing them to their appropriate seats. When asked she told Jaina Proudmoore and some of the other Alliance leaders that Ji was all right after the events of the Siege of Orgrimmar.

Legion

Aysa and Ji teaching a class together.
Legion This section concerns content related to Legion.

Aysa attends the funeral of Varian Wrynn, saying that he was a man who overcame many trials and that they all can all learn from his example.

True to Aysa’s words at the Siege of Orgrimmar, she and Ji returned to the Wandering Isle. They can be found in Mandori Village after the isle becomes the monk Order Hall, teaching monk trainees together.

When an Alliance player reaches Prestige Rank 2, Aysa can be found in Stormwind Keep alongside other notable leaders of the Alliance. During A Royal Audience, she is present at the ceremony hosted by King Anduin Wrynn that congratulates the character for their battles against the Horde, following their receiving of the [Grand Marshal’s Medal of Valor] from the King, as well as an artifact appearance.

Battle for Azeroth This section concerns content related to Battle for Azeroth.

Aysa is one of the Alliance leaders found in the Stormwind Embassy, expressing “great respect” for Anduin but noting that his father Varian was a more capable sparring partner. She is later found meditating at the bow of the Wind’s Redemption in Boralus, and says that she is not surprised that Jaina returned to Kul Tiras, for the greatest healing can only be found in the greatest wounds.

Used to play only alliance from vanilla till like WoTLK. Made a switch to try it out and been horde ever since. If I see an alliance now I feel like they’re just little pu*****.

Ghehe.

/giggle

I was a horde main in tbc up to cataclysm, until i had a break and came back in wod to alliance, and have stuck ally ever since.

I bascially woke up and chose the right side. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

I took one look at what they did to my female human character when they changed the appearance and went immediately over to Horde. I had like 50 chars of female human and have been steadily deleting them one by one. I never feel bad about it cus they look, walk and animate spells like an old codger on a zimmer frame. Sorry for that…

I wouldn’t play anything else Alliance now cus I love being Horde so much. So maybe they did me a favour.

I roleplay myself having multiple personality disorder.

So, when I play Horde it’s, “NOW YOU DIE ALLIANCE SCUM”. And when I play Alliance, “NOW YOU DIE HORDE SCUM”.

Multilayer RP, can’t beat that!

I have no loyalty to Alliance, but that is the faction I’ve played from the start. Good memories, good friends and of course good time. I have some Horde alts but none of them are in any guild and I really don’t have the connection with the alts.

I’ve been thinking to create a new Horde alt on a completely new server (to me) and start all over and see if i get the spark again

Liked to know the Story of both Factions, so i play both, never felt to one more attracted than the other.
I just dislike the Forsaken and female Tauren. ^^

I have a really tiny amount of faction loyalty, but I like to play it up for fun during wpvp and for lore reasons. And for gameplay conveniences I pretty much only play Horde.

I always played both factions just to see both sides of the story. Still, I always felt closer to the Alliance. They really making it hard to sympathize with the Horde when they screw up time and time again, but I do like the “family of outcasts” kind of Horde as a viable alternative… that is regrettably falling to the wayside.

I mostly play whatever my friends are playing but honestly I must admit my top two races are Human (basic I know) and Troll!

I think Alliance will always be my go to as I actually started out horde and when all my friends back in the day switched to Alliance I just fell in love especially with Teldrassil, being a young male back then female night elves became my uhh…go to choice!

Now I appreciate zones more than anything and casting animations. For some reason I just really love the human female animations, run is awkward but hey, can watch that booty for days.

I still have a soft spot for night elves though my Druid is begging to be race changed to a Male Nelf for the mog looks.
